One Big Mistake All Salespeople Make:
Improving sales and business results is really quite easy, patience and time are two helpful ingredients,
The third is communication.
Whether it be effective communication, impactful communication or relationship building communication, communication isn't necessarily about being the loudest or most talkative or thinking what you have is the only thing the client should own,
It's about being smart and knowing when to be silent and when to speak. The results are endless
1. You show your prospect / client you actually care
2. You show its not just about you
3. You come across as someone who really wants to help
4. You hear the real “Why” and get to provide the right solution
5. You prove you're an amazing listener
Always remember the meaning of “Communication” is the response we get back NOT the information we part with.
Happy Selling 😊
In your personal life or business life, success comes down to one word – Communication
You either know how to communicate or you don’t
And if you don’t, you must make it your #1 goal to learn how
Why
Your life doesn’t exist and can’t exist without other people
You pay bills, how much you pay will come down to your skills in negotiation but also how you communicate what you want across as to whether you will get it or not
So, what you want and what you end up with might be very different
Remember Communication is the response we get back
What does it mean when someone makes an agreement with you but then breaks it?
Was the message initially communicated, understood or something else,
And how will you know?
The same in sales,
Why did the person show interest initially only to pass on your product or service?
Where did it go wrong?
Here are 3 things you can do to improve your level of communication
1. Listen. Listen to what they are NOT saying NOT what you want to hear. Vital clues here
2. Use those vital clues to ask question, this is how you progress a conversation
3. Confirm. Ensure you make sure both parties are on the same page and heading in the same direction
Happy Selling 😊
Speaking in public isn't an uncommon fear and it's important to not have "conversation laryngitis" whilst speaking.
You can focus on making sure
1. Your presentation is well prepared and layered
2. That you have made some effort to know your presentation of by heart
3. That you are well rehearsed and have clear touch points to keep your audience engaged
4. Breathe. The most anxious part of speaking in public is those first few minutes when we get up there nervous as.
Being nervous is actually a good thing, as it makes us look genuine and real, it shows who we really are.
As we begin to breathe and settle into our speech, five minutes is all it takes then you’re off and running.
Happy Selling :)

How to immediately solve a problem
Answer remove all the emotions out of the equation, easy right?
Pretty much that’s all we need to do but sounds to easy
Remember the key word here is “Emotion”
And there are 2 types of emotions, one positive, one negative
To often we get caught up in the hype of it all and therefore get emotionally "Negative" connected, the result, we get stressed out and maybe even depressed
What we need to do is get emotionally disconnected
But surely, if I all I have to do is get emotionally disconnect does that mean all my problems will go away?
In a nutshell, No
Why?
Problems come into our life as a way of teaching us and help us grow, when we work out the “how” to solve the problem, they help us mature as people, allowing us to make better decisions moving forward. In business it helps us grow our business effortlessly
If we look at the problems carefully, we can probably group them as a collective, meaning they are most likely similar in nature
As an example, you may think you have a cashflow problem, however in reality you have a “Sales team” problem
Let’s look a little closer,
Problem 1: Salesperson #1 Closes 2 out of 10 sales but in reality, is quite capable of closing 4 sales out of 10
Problem 2: Salesperson #2 can do with retaining their client orders. They gain 5 new clients every month but also lose 5 client orders / transactions every month
Problem 3: Salesperson #3 sales figures remain pretty much steady with little or no growth over time, yet has the potential to substantially increase their current returns
When I speak to business owners or sales managers about their salespeople, they always say their salespeople are doing well, when in reality they have so much room for improvement.
So it’s the improvement NOT cashflow that is the problem here.
Can you understand or feel the difference in emotions when we identify the real problem as to what we thought the problem was?
One emotion is about cash flow and the struggle to meet payments on time, very stressful, the other is about seeing the opportunity a healthy emotion which gives you hope that you fix this problem and it solves another at the same time
The business owner can tend to be a little more honest as its their business, on the other hand the sales manager wants to be seen as they are doing a good job and may tend to sugar coat the situation, only to find themselves replaced down the road, wonder why?
Remember our goal, irrespective of the position we hold should really be about how to improve ourselves and get the most out of the role we play within an organisation, everything else will look after itself
So, by removing the emotions out of the equation doesn’t mean we will win every battle that comes our way, it just means we can helps ourselves deal better with the situation and potentially deliver a better outcome a much, much better outcome.
Happy selling 😊
There are only 4 objections you will ever come across in sales!
Regardless of your industry, you are going to come across nearly the same set of sales objections as everyone else.
The good news is that no matter what you're selling, objections typically fall within four categories.
The 4 categories are
1. Time
2. Money
3. Belief in us
4. Belief in themselves
Do you have a method in place on how to handle each of these objections?
Have you ever sat down and worked out why you really lost that deal?
One deal a week at 2K is 100K a year in lost revenue, multiply this by 5 salespeople and that's 500K you've missed out on.
Have you invested the time to look into this?
I'm sure you will be shocked as to how much money you are leaving on the table.
Failing to overcome objections costs businesses hundreds of thousands of dollars each year, so if you want to turn these losses into a profit get in touch with me at [email protected] and let me show you how to turn these losses into significant profits.
Happy selling 😊
Did you know every problem can be turned into an opportunity?
As professionals we are going to encounter problems, we don't want answer to, and while it's easy to ignore and look the other way, sometimes asking for guidance so all avenues are exhausted for that just in case opportunity might actually be worth its wait in gold.
Problem Solving: The Key To Business Success
Unfortunately, nearly 50% of all start-ups, businesses close their doors within their first five years.
I find that in the first 2 years of any start up, most business owners have tried to go it alone, making costly mistakes along the way that sends them backwards faster than they could ever have imagined.
Downside, they fail to see it and
Secondly, they let their EGO get in the way, thinking they only know best.
As the saying goes, “If you Fail to Plan, You Plan to Fail”
If you want to go it alone the first thing to take note of is to remember that there is no failure only feedback, so nothing personal.
You can start by focusing on improving your problem-solving skills and learning how to handle objections, this is where the success is, why because we all make mistakes and if we can rectify those mistakes we will progress and move forward and build a successful business.
One of my mentors a very smart man, once told me, “Robert, pick a topic and read all the books on it, you’ll work it out”.
But this can be very time consuming and if you are impatient or want to see results now, then this will be the slowest way to grow and succeed, you will get there, it will just take time.

Communication: The #1 Skill Required In Business Today
How has business communication evolved over the years?
In 2022, social media platforms will become an increasingly important part of business communication strategies. Using platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, businesses are able to converse and build relationships with prospective clients as well as continue building relationships with current clients and respond directly to their needs, views, and queries.
The communication trends that are relevant to your business will depend on its market, industry and strategic position. Pay close attention to the artificial intelligence you receive and its impact to direct your attention in the right direction, when it comes to how to communicate best to your audience in your business.
Tip: Pick one and make it your sole focus

Countless Real Estate Agents use email to highlight properties for sale and upcoming auctions
