Do you know how important it is to sort your waste, so it can be used as a valuable resource? Being Garden Girl isn’t about following a template and is difficult to replicate. Doing the unexpected like shifting garden beds invaded by tree roots is part of the job! It is hard work but I must say the kids love it!
In summer we planted carrots and beetroot! I return to schools now in autumn, where the leaves have fallen and it is time to harvest! So much to learn, including identifying the patterns we see as we prepare food for eating!
This says in the garden at Hallett Cove Community Children's Centre

It’s Autumn and we have been having fun in the sun! The magic of working with children in the garden, caring for our environment can’t be captured in a photo, but this shows a glimpse! We encourage imagination in the garden with kids planting their own magic beans to grow beanstalks as tall as the sky!
We are racing through the seasons and are 2 books into the Greenhill Living 8 book program!
