What's a girl to do...Painted a ladybird on my hand for the first entry for the month...
Sometimes I like to paint myself and enter a monthly paint a day challenge... I signed up for the month of August so let's see how I go...
The theme today was Paint Big, Paint Small, Paint Anything At All.... So I painted a ladybird =P

So I've been away awhile in hospital and got out 5½wks ago and it's been quite a challenge readjusting with brain mush as side effect from treatment... Well the brain mush is gone and I'm back to creating... Thank you so much Sam Towns, Bladesmith for helping me create my first knife and letting me bash the s**t outta some metal (blisters to prove it!) and I'm in love with how it turned out... It's exceeded my expectations.. we did this over 2 days a week apart... It's my special little Viking faerie knife and I have already carved a crochet hook and nålbinding needle... Again thank you so much and for showing me the basics of carving wood...gonna make all the things!
Making another flower crown because this will be my last live before going into hospital on Monday for treatment... Trying to cheer myself up a little bit some your company and chats will be most welcome xx

Shoved on a wig coz my red hair clashed with the poppies lol... Hope you enjoyed my little quick tutorial on them today as well as making this flower crown and hope you have some craft supplies to use at home to make some of your own xx

Next live I'll be showing you how to make an ANZAC Poppy for Anzac Day weekend and maybe you could make some to decorate your letterbox...and I'm going to make another flower crown out of the ones I'm making this morning which will double as a wreath to hang outside... Or maybe I'll make one of each... I don't know...

Quick selfie with my Native Australian Flower Crown... not many people watched my live today but that's okay... It provided me with the distraction that I needed this morning.. I'm happy with the end result and the supplies were from Kmart Australia

Finally most of it is out of my brain... still so much in there spiralling around and around but the more I get out the more and more I can now focus on doing the things....

What came out was nothing like I had envisioned... I was going to make one big flower but I wasn't feeling the best after my psychologist session even though it went well and I think I found a good one (yay!) But kinda ended up with droopy flowers...

Yesterday's finished background before I had an appointment with a new psychologist... I was so anxious and needed distraction and kinda ended up taking it out on the canvas hitting and splattering paint... Was a little bit therapuetic lol

Woke up at 2am by a nightmare of my ex screaming at me to wake up and by 2:40 I was too restless to get back to sleep so I did an owl... Nightmares suck and when they rattle you to the point of not being able to get back to sleep again the only thing I can do is distract myself
