I can’t seem to stop harping on about time and how valuable my time is in my day. It’s my go to answer for all new clients especially when they ask me “Why would I use your service”.

My background is in transport and distribution. It was one of first jobs and I worked for an organisation name Brambles Transport located in Revesby. I was a data entry operator, calculating Linehaul Costs. Linehaul is the industry term for the cost of transport of goods on a route but does not include the loading or unloading costs.

I continued to work within this industry, building and developing my knowledge base until it became second nature. I have to admit though, I always enjoyed finding lost freight and finding ways to expedite the process, even challenging colleagues to find it before me. I must admit though, I was the lucky one, I had built my career from the ground up and industry knowledge was always my asset coupled with logical reasoning.

When I decided on a career change, I took the skills I had learnt and applied it to recruitment. Open and honest communication, reliability to always let you know where we were in the process even if that was news you didn’t want to hear and industry knowledge.

So, this brings me to why use a recruitment agency to find your next employee? Time.
