Values
Values underpin everything I do.
As a support coordinator, listening to the needs of NDIS participants forms the basis of how I can help. I hear you.
I - INTEGRITY
Guided by honesty; what we say we will do, we do.
H - HOPE
Despite your situation, there is always hope. We work to instil and keep hope alive.
E - EFFICIENCY
You won’t be left waiting. We act quickly, and keep you informed all the way.
A - AUTHENTICITY
What you see is what you get.
R - RESPECT
You are a unique person with your own set of values, thoughts and ideals. We respect difference and the choices you make.
Support Coordination
Support Coordination can be found in an NDIS plan under ‘Capacity Building Supports’.
An NDIS participant works with their chosen Support Coordinator to connect with service providers and determine how their funds will be spent.
A good Support Coordinator helps a participant get the most out of their plan with the funding available. For further information about what a Support Coordinator does, check out this page from the NDIS website.
Independent and experienced NDIS support coordinators are vital in ensuring plans are implemented, monitored and reviewed where necessary.
As an independent Support Coordinator, my only interest is to get the best results for participants.
To avoid conflict of interest - Support coordination and support services are not able to be provided to the same person - this must be kept separate.
As a Tasmanian provider, I understand the unique needs of people in our state. I have developed great relationships with health, disability and community service professionals.
I can meet you in your home or community, at a café or library – wherever you feel comfortable.
Do you or someone you know have support needs, on a NDIS plan and you are self, or Plan managed - we just might be the right team for you.
With over 15 years' experience in education, employment and training, disability employment and support coordination - I am ready to motivate, build capacity, and confidence in you.
Do you require literacy and numeracy or other educational supports?
Looking for your dream job, but don't know where to start?
