We've been away camping for 2 weeks and our first stop was the in the flinders. What an awesome iconic and legendary watering hole. If you're in the flinders drop in and see the crew and buy an MPA over the bar and have a great feed. Also lucky to see the flinders in full flood. Cheers!

Happy Fathers Day
I was lucky enough to be given a fathers day box put together by .sa . My first beer of choice is the RPL from . After an early morning surf and hanging out with the kids for the day here are my thoughts on this beer.
It pours bright and clear, light straw coloured with a white foamy head that has great retention, possibly due to the munich used. Light bready malt smells, little to no hop aroma - peppery spice zing from the crystal hops and nice bitterness that seems firmer than the quoted 21 IBU which leads me to think its finished slightly dry which I love, this one is definitely not too sweet like so many. Crisp, extremely well balanced and hugely crushable. For someone who doesn't drink a lot of lagers I love it. Well done

📍🍔 "Wu Tang Slam" .
📍🍻 5.8%ABV IPA
I was doing some late night shopping at Westfield Marion on Thursday night and decided to grab a take away burger from Panacea as I was leaving.
These guys are always creating something new so it's worth checking their special board when you are next walking past, on this day it was the Wu Tang Slam burger which offered you a choice of protein. Either Angus Beef or Buttermilk Fried chicken.... I naturally ordered it with both.
Was a really tasty burger but not the best I've had from them (see my previous review of their "Camenburger"). It was cooked really well, with the Angus beef retaining the pink center that it should, the chicken nice and crispy and the bacon adding a slight smoky flavour to the whole meal. The only small detraction was I found it to be a little salty, whether that was due to the sauces, the spices on the chicken, or the waffle fries I'm not sure as I tasted each component individually and they all tasted fine.
All up the team at have created another winning burger; get on it before, like the Camenburger, it disappears!
(Side note; their chips are great too!)
Enjoyed a "Sea Haze" IPA from with my burger.
This one is packed with tropical flavours which are apparent on the nose as soon as it's poured. Goes down nice and smooth so was a really good accompaniment to my meal.
Second beer style I've had from this brewer and am looking forward to trying out the rest of his range.

Chilli Stout

Thanks for the bonus bottle to try 👍 Tonight we tried the chilli stouts side by side.
First: (with label):light aroma of malt and honey, smooth coffee and biscuit flavours with a nice warming chilli buzz at the end.
Second: (no label): stronger aroma of coffee and treacle, slightly sweeter coffee flavour and more upfront (and slightly hotter) chilli flavour, which warmed the tastebuds and the throat.
I loved them both, but the second one just a teeny bit more.
Awesome for a cold winter’s night 🌶 🔥

Sea Haze NEIPA

Love the name - it describes this brew perfectly 👌
Poured hazy and deep orange brown. Light tropical fruit aromas.
I tasted mango, citrus, banana and a bit of honeycomb.
Really juicy and smooth with a hint of hop kick and nice amount of fizz.

Here’s another beer from this ones an imperial porter 8.7% it’s full of dark roasted ,nutty flavours, and aromas and it’s got a real smooth mouth feel that makes this a really enjoyable beer 👍🍺🇦🇺

Port Burger

📍🍔 Oklahoma Smash from 📍🍻 Chilli Stout from .
Had a romantic lunch date (COVID19 style AKA burger and beer in the car) with the beautiful who is shown hand modelling here 🤣😂.
Had my go to burger from the Oklohoma Smash. This is everything a burger should be imho. Smashed beef patty, 2 types of cheese, onion, pickles + jalapeno's and a spicy sauce for that little bit of kick...... which brings me to my beer.
Chilli Stout from . This brew has everything you would expect from a good stout. Super smooth, creamy mouthfeel with the initial taste being full of chocolatey, biscuity, malty goodness but then you get a nice warm kick from Mark's inclusion of scorpion chillies in the brewing process.
This is an absolute belter and one to ensure is in your fridge during the winter months. I'll definately be ordering some more of these!

Picked up a 6er of this absolute banger of a Chilli Stout from local brewer Mark . Combining 2 of my favourite things in the world, chillies and a rich thick chocolatey Stout. The heat is perfect, a nice little tingle that sits on the lips and tongue. Amazing beer, actually PERFECT!

Chilli Stout is here again!
Roasty chocolaty chilli goodness to warm the cockles.

Well here’s another great beer from this 5.8% Sea Haze is a full bodied fruity hazy with great fruity aromas when you crack it , get your hands on one of these and you won’t be disappointed . Cheers 👍🍺🇦🇺

This, from what I remember was a 4.9%er malt bomb of an old school style Pale Ale. We are definitely blessed in South Australia to have world class beers practically on our doorsteps. 👌🏻🍺

This amazing double dry hopped “Sea Haze” NEIPA from is super juicy and super delicious while still keeping the ABV quite low for a NEIPA at 5.8%. Using Amarillo, Citra & El Dorado hops. I could drink this all day!
