Food for thought.
Before ADRA, Maria and her husband were harvesting vegetables once a month, earning $20 each time.
Providing for the family was difficult, especially in the dry season. But thanks to the strawberry seeds she received from ADRA, Maria can harvest her strawberries weekly, earning $30 each time.
Now Maria’s family are able to meet their basic needs.

Re. Mt Barker Opshop
To Our Valued Customers
Unfortunately we have had to make the decision to close our doors.
We will cease trading and close our doors by close of business Friday 28 January 2022. Come and grab a bargain, we are reducing our prices to clear everything in store. Everything must go.
We’d like to thank our faithful donors and customers who have supported us over the years. Without you, we could not have achieved what we have. Come and say goodbye.
We’d also like to thank all our dedicated volunteers who have served over the years. You mean the world to us.
Please, no more donations. Perhaps you may wish to support Vinnies Mt Barker in Gawler Street and The Salvation Army in Dutton St, who, we are sure would be very grateful for your donation.

Thank you for your support of the ADRA Appeal this October! 🙏 With your help, more than 100 community projects right here in Australia will receive the support they need to continue to provide essential services to people who would otherwise fall between the cracks. To everyone who fundraised on our behalf, ran or attended a masterclass, or donated, we see you and we are so grateful 💚
