But, What Can We Do?
Small changes - big impact "But, what can we do?" What difference can one person make? Reducing waste and our negative impact on this beautiful world.
This was the question we asked ourselves when faced with the idea of doing something to protect the environment and make the world a better place. Then we realised that if lots of people make small changes then the collective impact is huge.
β
All of our products will be alternatives to common items that in some way damage the environment. Also every product is linked to a charity that helps peo

It's not great to find rubbish on the side of the road, but it feels good to remove it from the environment πππ©΅
We pretty much use things till we no longer can! Maybe we've gone too long with these cellulose sponges π but it does feel good to get so much use out of them π
Our daughter made this T-Rex π¦ Felt piece with her Pop. It is 100% dyed wool. If you've never felted, it is a process, but it's really fun and at the end, you get a product you made and can use pretty much straight away. She loves it and is currently using it as a place mat π
It was fun painting with these 'Natural Eco Paints' π¨ by Eco Art and Craft π The red and purple colours came up as more of a deep pink but it didn't phase us! ***We don't sell these but would recommend them to anyone wanting to do a fun paint activity*** πππ©΅

Rubbish collected on our walk πππ©΅
Found this little book in our local bookshop. There are a number of words from David Attenborough in this book, but
"We should feel guilty for the way we've treated the planet."
was very thought-provoking.
Personally, we like to be challenged, and we like to take a step back and review aspects of life. Thinking about how our lives impact the world around us can lead to good changes.
We encourage you to take a moment today to assess how you're treating our beautiful planet.
Are there any changes (big or small) you could make?
Maybe that change is simply having a conversation with someone about the earth and how we could be treating it better π€·ββοΈπ€·π½ββοΈ

One of our Pickleball mates bought one of our branded BWCWD shirts and wore it at a Pickleball Tournament we recently competed in βΊοΈ It is something special when you have people you know support your business - we are feeling the love β€οΈ

We made 3 cocktails and 1 mocktail AND popped in the SIP straws we sell β¨οΈ SIP straws are guilt-free made with rice & corn that are 100% biodegradable and compostable. They last for 2hrs which is plenty and when you're drinking from them you just feel good knowing that they are basically like uncooked pasta that will biodegrade back into the earth β€οΈ Purchase them at https://www.butwhatcanwedo.com/product-page/eco-straws-narrow-standard-wide π
Curious what the drinks wereπΈπΈπΈπΈ They all had a base of Bunderberg Ginger Beer.
1x Moscow Mule (ice, lime, vodka, ginger beer, mint leaves)
2x Whisky versions of the Moscow Mule (ice, lime, whisky, ginger beer with basil leaves on top instead of mint)
1x Ginger Beer mocktail (ice, lime, ginger beer, mint leaves)

At βBut, What Can We Do?β we stock some excellent eco products, that are alternatives to either plastic packaged or chemical based products or both π
We pride ourselves on offering quality eco products and sending these products to customers wrapped in eco-friendly packaging πΏ Why? For two reasons. One - we care about people getting the best βgood for youβ products and Two - we care that the productβs use and end of life, has a far lesser impact on the earth than other products available and once again making sure they arrive to your doorstep packaged in earth friendly materials π§Όπ§½πͺ₯π¦
Give us a try. We believe you will be most satisfied with our products, however, in the case you are not, we will make it a priority to rectify that π

WATER, such an important source of life for our bodies, that in winter it is often forgotten about or replaced with hot drinks like coffee or tea. You know we just want to be warmβοΈ Well 'healthdirect' has great info on the importance of water and being hydrated which you would have seen on this post. However, for more information have a look at https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/drinking-water-and-your-health π§ππππ
