Is it too late to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year? Haha 😂
I’ve been soooo MIA during the holiday period and I have so much content to share with you all but have been super busy in mumland and haven’t had the capacity to put on my business hat. But I’m dusting that bad boy off now!
So, now that it’s the 1st of February, let’s face it, the real ‘start of the year’, I’m back babbbbyyyyy!
And starting it all off with this killlllllllllller wedding of my best friend, Hol! I’ll be sharing a lot from her wedding because it’s gotta be one of my alllllll time favourites. Wedding and florals!
Keep your eyes peeled for some more happy snaps from her wedding featuring some special florals from Coombs Blooms!

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, which means you need to think about getting your s**t together if you’re going to be surprising your special lover with some beautiful florals and gifts to express your love and appreciation to them.
Maybe you haven’t got a lover? Maybe you’ve got a crush, GALentine, friend, colleague, mum (cute!), daughter (mega cute!), sister, doggo, barista, mailman, bus driver, complete stranger.. okay okay- anyone qualifies. Hell, you could buy yourself a little summin-summin, I’m certainly not judging.
Don’t leave it to the last minute! Get in early, tick that box, sit back and twiddle your thumbs while I work my magic to make your soulmate feel like the luckiest person alive- and give you some serious brownie points!
And ladies, don’t forget- the boys love flowers too! Deep down, sometimes reallllly deep down. Plus it’s a sneaky gift for you too.. like a couples massage. Genius!
Hit me up for all your floral needs! 🌹

Still dreaming about my new sign from Coolibah Collective 😍😍😍
I walk downstairs just to stare loving at it. The love, care and craftsmanship that went into making this sign is just above and beyond. Em (and her mum!) delicately removed every tiny detail cut out to give me a bang on copy of my logo. We didn’t know how it would turn out but Em was so keen to give it. The time and patience she put into it is very obvious!
Def hit Em up for your business needs! 💛💛💛
Some business signage I did for my sister in law Coombs Blooms
This one has got to be one of the most tedious things I've made but it also turned out to be one of my favourites!!!

When the beautiful bride sneaks in before you’re finished the table and already loves what you’ve done… it’s a good feeling! A sigh of relief that I’m on the right track! 😮💨
This is a throwback to a magical wedding I did last year. A very special one for a very special couple and family.
I loved the simplicity of a full, lush, rich run of greenery down a stunning long table. Sometimes less is more and this is definitely an example of that. 🌿

Good luck and may the best Mum win!! (Jokes, we are all the best mums doing the best we can with whatever our darlings throw at us) ♥️
Hi, hello, yes I’m still alive, I’ve just been quietly hiding in my house playing mums and dads. I’ve been a little M.I.A over the last few months and this is a little insight as to why..
Our little bubba Cece has changed our lives as we know it and it’s been a wild ride navigating this new life as a parent. We have managed to come out the other side after some trying times at the beginning and feel like we are nailing our new roles.
Now that Cece is an angel (most of the time), I’m able to start exploring my business again and take on some new projects and work.
This is super exciting for me as I pretty much put a pin in Coombs Blooms as soon as it started when I found out I was preggo due to the uncertainty in what my journey would look like through my pregnancy, postpartum and returning to work with a baby at home.
Now I’m more ready than every to dive into the flower world again, so stay tuned for some wedding content I haven’t had a chance to post yet.

Boo and Bec are high school friends of mine and I was lucky enough to create their wedding flowers and then follow on to celebrate their magical wedding with them too.
They had their wedding at Boo’s Grandmother’s house in Possum Creek, NSW (near Bangalow) which was the most lush green, thriving, beautiful property with stunning views surrounding the entire house. It’s so special going to someone’s childhood/family homes were they spent time and made memories with their lovely families.
These guys decided on a mix of native Aussie flowers and then I added some muted-colour accents as well which helped tie everything together and give some interest and variety to their bouquets and arrangements.
Boo created all of my branding for Coombs Blooms, so it was very special to be at his wedding working under the brand he helped me create. If you’re ever looking for graphic designing from someone seriously talented, he’s your guy. .design

I had the absolute pleasure and honour of creating flowers for some of my best mates for their incredible wedding at a simply stunning venue
This wedding was definitely a favourite of mine, one of the best days ever. The day was filled with love, joy and happiness and the vibe was buzzing.
It was the biggest job I’ve done so far, which was a challenge on my own but I did manage to pull it off after roping in some wonderful troops! Shout out to my little squad! 😍
This wedding build so much confidence in myself and my work and makes me so excited to keep pushing myself to create bigger and better things!
Love you guys!

This wedding was at the most stunning venue in the Scenic Rim, Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm
the mountains were just breathtaking.. and so was the bride.
Jessie and Kev chose a neutral colour pallet with pops of peachy orange which I love so much!
Here’s a little sneak peak from their wonderful photographer!

Now that you’re here, you may as well know a little bit about how Coombs Blooms came to life and some goss about the mastermind behind the operation (that’d be me..🙋🏼♀️).
Firstly- just a quick rundown of the important peeps in this photo and how they are featured as a tribute to my business; my husband, Michael who supports me endlessly in every aspect of my life. He gifted me with his last name, Coombs and came up with the name ‘Coombs Blooms’. While I first laughed it off as a cute and funny suggestion, I obviously came around to the idea. And the real star of the show, my rescue greyhound, Daisy. She is the cutie doggo in my logo who I just adore. And that’s me, Jannah (pronounced like Hannah but with a J.. thanks mum).
It all started here, on my wedding day back in 2019 (how lucky were we that we got our wedding in before the world went crazy with the spicy cough). I really wanted to do my own flowers even though I had no experience, no idea what I was doing and no knowledge about flowers. Haha. But, I winged it and was so happy with the result!
I really surprised myself with how much I enjoyed it and not to toot my own horn, but how magically, amazingly, undoubtably brilliant I was at creating the florals! Oh wait, was that too much? Just kidding, but I did raise an eyebrow at the end and say to myself ‘gee, that’s not bad is it?’
Anyway, fast forward to mid 2020 when I quit my job and started working with my best friend in her photography business, shout out to . I entered a whole new world (queue little mermaid soundtrack) and my creative juices were flowing like they never had before. My little brain shifted from boring computer work to creating magic on set- a much more enjoyable daily grind!
As a set stylist, my skills were growing and we soon started branching out (no pun intended) to using florals in our sets and that’s where I really started getting a lot of practice in. I felt the most comfortable and confident when I got to play with flowers! I just loved it so much and I think that’s were I started to plant the seed (again, no pun intended) about having my own floristry business one day.
And that brings us to now! I’m so excited to see what the future holds for me and Coombs Blooms!

Well well well, what do we have here? Did I actually manage to make a dream turn into a reality? Looks like it!
Coombs Blooms Floristry is my new gig and I’m so looking forward to watch it grow and see what I am able to create along the way. 🌸
I’ll be offering my services to pretty much anywhere you’re willing to have me; Ipswich, Brisbane, Sunny Coast, Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Byron- you name it!
Please give my page some love and feel free to share! 💜
