Tablets are simple and convenient to use. They provide an accurately measured dosage of the active ingredient in a convenient portable package, and can be designed to protect unstable medications or disguise unpalatable ingredients.

Coloured coatings, embossed markings and printing can be used to aid tablet recognition. Manufacturing processes and techniques can provide tablets with special features, such as sustained release or fast dissolving formulations.

Probiotec’s high quality tablet machine tooling facilitates a wide range of tablet diameter and shapes and also ensures tablets are the perfect consistency; strong enough to withstand the stresses of packaging, shipping and handling by pharmacists and patients, yet delicate enough that they disintegrate in the gastric tract.

We adopt Sustainable Packaging Guidelines for our existing and new products, to minimise the environmental impact of packaging materials, where possible.

The company utilises many recycling collection points within our facilities, to reduce the impact on landfill. Cardboard, white paper and commingle are being recycled. 🌱🍃♻
