The Wongan Ballidu Football Club would like to pay tribute and extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of Jermayne Smith & Harley Corbett. Both Jermayne & Harley were valued current members of our club and we are deeply saddened by their passing.
Sunday was an emotional and difficult day for everyone. The boys had the #2 and #14 jumpers with them all day and fought hard right to final siren. Unfortunately we went down by a goal but the effort and desire was there for everyone to see.
The club would like to thank all the people who participated in the post game tribute around the centre circle. It was great to see players and supporters of both clubs come together and pay their respects.
We know you will both be looking down on us and will be as proud as anyone when the boys get that elusive win.
