🛎️ How we used AI to build a storyboard for our TV Commercial 🎬

Starting with why: the process of producing a TV Commercial is rigorous; you want to represent the client's brand best, engage their audience, and get client approvals at every step, all whilst trying to keep that creative flair for the most memorable result.

It's easy to allow 'too many chefs in the kitchen', a sure way to kill any creative ideas and produce something that is 'the middle of the road'.

It all comes down to this: how effectively you can communicate your ideas to the client.

The biggest 'hail mary' comes from showing a client a sketch and saying, ""Use your imagination"" to get it the rest of the way.

With AI image generators, detailed, accurate storyboard creation is the lowest-hanging fruit innovation from AI in the Video Production space.

I expect it to be widely adopted this year, if not already.

At the time of creating this storyboard (mid-2023), 'Mid Journey' was the go-to for AI Image Generation, which may have changed with DALL·E 3 currently, although the pendulum swings back and forth between apps constantly.

I'm excited to share how close the storyboard was to the actual shot from the TVC.

This is a new, advantageous tool for video storytellers to better visually explain their ideas without expecting clients to 'just get it'.

What's next, you ask?

The logical evolution lies in bringing these images to life with image-to-video AI tech. It's already here, and if you want to see how it works, follow and stay tuned.
