How often should you exfoliate your skin ? This is a question I get asked a lot. Skin exfoliation should be done 2-3 times per week!

On average we lose 50 million skin cells a day, and if they remain on the skin, they can make the skin look dull and dry.

Encouraging that extra layer of skin cells to shed off by exfoliating a minimum of two to three times a week is the secret to smooth, glowing skin ✨

Studies have shown that exfoliating less than 3 times a week can still lead to dead skin build up and a dull complexion. On the other hand exfoliating more than 3 times a week, can strip away the protective oil film that lines and protects your skin, making it more susceptible to blemishes and damage.

Exfoliating 3 times a week is the universal advice given by dermatologists 💕
