I recently checked out the historic Crescent Hotel in North Hobart – highly recommend. Great business, great food, great atmosphere. 🍻

Was great to check out Muylatina Centre which opened earlier this year and is conveniently located next to East Tamar Primary School, for families in Newnham, Mowbray, Invermay, Rocherlea, Mayfield, and Lilydale.

Granville Harbor Wind Farm, on Tassie's energy-rich West Coast is doing its thing: supplying affordable, renewable energy.

We’re blessed with great wind and hydro resource – and not bad solar too when the sun is shining! 🌞

Rumour has it the Lamb and Mint Pies at the Olde Tudor Bakery are pretty delicious. 🤤

This summer, Tasmania has received 15 additional aircraft to help our local response and build on more than 20 private helicopters already here. 🚁✈️

Our parks chopper joined them to demonstrate their impressive winching capabilities.

Fire destroyed almost every asset in the Friendly Beaches campsite, including two toilet blocks, the beach viewing platform, guideposts, fencing and signage.

We know Tasmanians love this area, especially over summer, but unfortunately for public safety this site remains closed. 🚷

I assure you all efforts are being made to rehabilitate the site.

Tasmania’s biggest solar project has passed another hurdle.

400 hectares of solar panels will be installed at the historic Connorville Station at Cressy.

Generating enough electricity to power around 70,000 Tasmanian homes!
