Scope of Work: Removal of rusted sign screws; render repairs; pressure cleaning and repainting of entire exterior façade

Access System: Rope access with power elevation (powered ascenders)

Painting System: 3 coats
First coat: Solvent primer
2nd and 3rd Coats: Top quality exterior hard-wearing coating

Cleaning Systems: High-pressure water blasting

Challenges: Busy streets (Spring and Oxford); limitations with the use of lifts; flat side walls to land on adjoining neighbour’s roof; telecommunication towers on the roof; no parking on the premises

• Pressure cleaning of 6 buildings and auditorium awning, including clad panels, painted surfaces, window frames and brick
• Removing thick mould from bricks with mould killer
• Window cleaning of all inaccessible glass
• Water leak test

Painting System: 3 coats
First coat: Solvent primer
2nd and 3rd Coats: Top quality exterior hard-wearing coating

Challenges: Multiple overhangs (this required the installation of overhang anchors and rebelays); various unclear balconies; busy street (Oxford); heat; height; solvent primer use (breathing apparatus required); one injured tradesman (the injury of this tradesman was in his wrist due to repetitive work, and he has received physiotherapy).

Outcome: All challenges overcome ✅, project completed ✅, happy client ✅, building looks nice and fresh ✅.
