I had a quick little work out .fitness after an early PT this morning!

If you have not gotten down to the new gym, you are missing out!

The facility is next level hey, honestly it’s amazing, so many new machines (my fav would be the hack squat, and belt squat machine - clearly love a leg day)

Anyways do yourself a favour and go check it out, it will not disappoint!

I used to think that being sore meant I had a successful and great workout 💭

While soreness definitely gives us that feeling of “ OHH YEASSS I WORKED GIRRLLL” it doesn’t mean our work out was “good” or “bad”.

Muscle soreness occurs when we take a muscle through an extended range of motion (often with a “load” aka weights eg dumbell) that this muscle isn’t used to.

After starting a new workout plan you may feel a bit sore the first 4 weeks as your body adjusts to the new movements, range of motion and loads (weights).

After a while you won’t experience as much muscle soreness because your body has adapted to what you are putting it through.
AND THATS OK!

It doesn’t mean your workouts are no longer successful or beneficial.

So if you feel sore, take some time to hydrate, do some low impact exercise, and be patient with your body 💕💕

If you aren’t sore after your workouts, enjoy it while it lasts, and know you are still having a good and effective workouts EVEN if you don’t feel sore!

What is an InBody Scan?

The InBody scan is a body composition analysis. It measures your body and provides a detailed, yet easy to understand report.

On your results sheet, you will see metrics including weight, total skeletal muscle mass, total body fat, total body water and a full segmental muscle and fat analysis.

By monitoring these metrics over time, we can pin point the changes needed in your diet and exercise to achieve your goals.

You’ll receive one of these before the challenge starts and at the end to see your progress!

These will be how we determine the winner 🏆
