While your hair doesn't technically "get used" to a particular product and prompt the need for change, it's essential to consider the evolving needs of your hair and scalp. For instance, if you have an oily scalp, you might opt for a shampoo that balances sebum production. Over time, as your sebum levels are regulated, the need to address that specific concern diminishes. This could be an indication that it's time to switch to a product that caters to your current needs. On the other hand, if your ends are dry, you might choose an intensely moisturizing conditioner. Once you restore the moisture levels, you may find that the conditioner feels too heavy. In such cases, it's not that your hair has grown accustomed to the product, but rather that your needs have shifted. It becomes necessary to transition to a slightly lighter conditioner. Instead of assuming a product has stopped working, it's helpful to ask ourselves with each purchase: "What are my hair and scalp needs at this moment?" By considering our hair's ever-changing demands, we can choose the most suitable products for our current haircare journey.

Shampoo cleanses the scalp, gathers and washes away debris and oils. As well as that, it should restore or maintain a healthy scalp ecosystem, depending on your personal hair and scalp needs.
Choosing the right shampoo will leave you with a cleansed, nourished and balanced scalp allowing for the perfect environment for strong and healthy hair follicles, leading to strong and healthy hair.

Hazel & Blondie currently has 2 different shampoos in our base range. Plus 2 specialty shampoos.
BALANCE SHAMPOO - thorough cleansing to remove excess dirt and debris. Balance sebum production for excessively oily or imbalanced scalp. Return an imbalanced scalp to a normal pH level. Add volume to flat or heavy hair.
HYDRATE SHAMPOO - gentle cleanser, packed with hydrating ingredients to nourish a normal to dry scalp. Retain or restore hydration and promote healthy hair follicles resulting in more hydrated hair.

For best results, shampoo hair as often as required. After your first lather and rinse, repeat the process for a second time and follow up with a conditioner suited to you hair type.

We are happy to help with all questions hair and scalp. Styling, hair, colour, hair health, scalp build up, whatever irks you. These questions can relate to anything, it’s not always going to be about our product. As you know we don’t have the full range yet, and to be honest, there’s some things we just won’t have, maybe ever.
For example, I would tell you that our very favourite hair vitamin supplements are the range from . I would also tell you I have a great tip for build up on the scalp of your pre-teen/teen (who now washes their hair by themselves) and maybe doesn’t rinse quite well enough. I’d tell you my favourite aerosol dry shampoo is the one from Original Mineral, followed a close second by the one from Mr Smith hair.
The list goes on!
