"As a physiotherapist of 34 years, in the heart of Melbourne’s school-land, I’ve seen thousands of school kids pass through my clinic doors, many of whom present with pathologies relating to poor, ill-designed school-bags, or bags re-purposed for school use.

Sadly, and predictably, these kids, secondary schoolers particularly, have problems caused by school bags that are ineffective at managing the large volumes and weights requiring daily transport to and from school, from back pain - low, high and middle - to neck pain, neck headaches, shoulder, elbow and forearm pain - all can and will result from carrying bags that just aren’t optimised for the young, growing human body. Or in fact any body.
