Been a little MIA with my posts as I settled in to a new full time role. Not usually one to over share, I have had a few beautiful DMs asking if everything was ok… absolutely! Just needed time to learn to embrace the chaos of juggling a small business whilst working full time and raising a family. I know many of you can totally relate to the wheel of go-go-go, days that blur into weeks, and ‘one day’ piles seemingly always out of reach. But always know that eventually things fall into place - ever so slowly at times! - and a new normal is formed.

I am at my new normal era and can’t wait to open new - always pretty! - doors to my lovely Loviti community 🤍🤍

All this plus I learnt a new design word today: a baja shelf. It’s the latest must-have feature in pools. And it’s the perfect spot in the pool for adults to lounge around in and the kiddos to splash in.

What is a baja shelf? Well have explained it with that much appeal that I may just need to get one…. It’s the landing (or shelf) at the entry of a pool that is ankle deep in water; it teases you with the cooling sensation without having to bobble around submerged. And the kiddies have a safe spot to stand & splash (under adult supervision of course!).

Totally the next big thing!

Mino ware is said to have its origins as far back as the Nara period in the 8th century, and today accounts for more than half of all ceramics produced in Japan.
