Fitz-e aka Ray Borner, voted in 2024 as Narrm’s #7 favourite conductor of musical varietals such as italo disco, new wave/beat, post punk and beyond, has a sonic palette as diverse as the city’s laneways and wordy coffee orders.
Cutting their teeth as 1/6 of the infamous institute of fun Spin Club, the dj strives to blend old gold with the contemporary and flarey, transporting punters to a cosmic black hole on the dancing floor where every track tells a tale.

They have built a name for themselves playing bouncy 90’s Tech Haus, acid filled Progressive House and deep Minimal in and around Naarm in recent years — supporting the likes of Gerd Janson, Mella Dee, Ludwig A.F, DJ Koze and most recently Cromby.

Hailing from the UK, Séarlait has carved a unique space for herself in Naarm and beyond, frequenting for labels such as Steel City Dance Discs, international music festivals and working behind the scenes at Waves. 
Her roots lie in UK underground dance music, orbiting playfully around breaks, electro and techno, however Séarlait’s enthusiasm to carefully and seamlessly explore various genres is what places her innovative style in an entire realm of its own.
Radio holds a special place for Séarlait to experiment and develop her distinct sound, crafting mixes for both on and off the dancefloor, being the host of 1800 Play on area3000, a monthly resident on Bloop London with Our Ears Only, and regularly contributing guest mixes for stations like Rinse FM, Voices Radio and The Sound Gallery.

The joint alter-ego of scene stalwarts, Yugo B & Henry Who; the pair combine their record collections (and good looks) to set the tone at Music Room Melbourne this Sunday.

KPxMR Artist Announce - Adam Askew:

Adam began DJing in the late 90s. He made his start at cult club nights Centriphugal, Meccanoid and Dirty Talk. DJ residencies have included Honkytonks, Revolver, Trough and The Carlton. Adam has played guest spots for Vice Magazine, Falls Festival and Good Vibrations. International support slots include Theo Parrish, M83 and Andrew Weatherall. His music production, under nom de plume The Delicate Genius, has been released on Rush Hour records, HITS (Canyons) and Fingertips Records (Recloose).

One of Naarm's underground gems, Adam joins us for his debut set at Music Room Melbourne this Sunday.

KPxMR Artist Announce - Tina Disco:

A fresh and eternal personality, with a q***r identity and an eclectic spirit. Full-time DJ, producer and digger. Passionate about investigating avant-garde sounds from past eras, 80s, 90s and post-contemporaries from different parts of the world.

In her playful approach to breaking boundaries, Tina captures the zeitgeist of a generation that is in a constant state of transformation, continually recontextualizing seemingly fixed concepts and stereotypes. As a result, both different sets and productions are essentially genre-fluid, showcasing their talent for fusing diverse elements into a cohesive musical fabric.

Levon Vincent heads up the first episode of ‘Live Recordings’ taken from our various events. This mix is an excerpt from his 3hr set at Revolver Upstairs last June, and features a heap of original production such is the fabric of his unique sound. M+M, an out-of-the-box disc jockey duo comprising of Yugo B + Henry Who. The universe has spoken, and pair reunite as musical compadres to shape new sonic pathways together this August at Whitehart Bar.

Mothafunk, a DJ born and raised in Chicago and currently living in Naarm, merges all genres of Black music to create unique dance-centered experiences. Tune into her radio show ‘Blue Magic’ on RRR for a taste of her craft. We look forward to hosting her this August at Whitehart Bar.

Former b-boy and self-confessed "drum-machine obsessive”, Inkswel began his career as Jules Habib in Australia. However, his cosmopolitan outlook on music and life has taken him all over the world, including stints London, Amsterdam, Melbourne, and Adelaide, where he has put in studio time. His journey has led him to work with artists such as Moodymann, Talib Kweli, Lee Scratch Perry, and countless more… We look forward to hosting him this August at Whitehart Bar.
