โIt is possible of course to get stuck in the 'mud' of life. It's easy enough to notice mud all over you at times. The hardest thing to practice is not allowing yourself to be overwhelmed by despair.
When you're overwhelmed by despair, all you can see is suffering everywhere you look. You feel as if the worst thing is happening to you.
But we must remember that suffering is a kind of mud that we need in order to generate joy and happiness.
Without suffering, there's no happiness.
So we shouldn't discriminate against the mud. We have to learn how to embrace and cradle our own suffering and the suffering of the world, with a lot of tenderness.โ โค๏ธ

It isnโt always easy to see
That we all create our own reality
The things we think and say and do
Will one day for us be true
As much as possible think positively
About all of your life, this is the first key
To unlock the door to your wishes and dreams
Positive thinking is what it seems
At first its hard to look on the bright side
When it seems life is taking you for a ride
But the more that you can appreciate
The more your life will begin to look great
Controlling your words is the second key
With positive thinking this comes naturally
If all that your thinking is good and kind
Words of love and praise you will easily find
Always speaking the truth with love in your heart
Sometimes will be difficult when you first start
But persevere and you will eliminate hate
Thereโs no better way to communicate
If love guides your thoughts and words easily
Then your actions will show love effortlessly
Itโs often said โaction speaks louder than wordโ
So do everything with love and you will be heard
Whatever you consistently think say and do

On the day when
the weight deadens
on your shoulders
and you stumble,
may the clay dance
to balance you.
And when your eyes
freeze behind
the grey window
and the ghost of loss
gets into you,
may a flock of colours,
indigo, red, green
and azure blue,
come to awaken in you
a meadow of delight.
When the canvas frays
in the currach of thought
and a stain of ocean
blackens beneath you,
may there come across the waters
a path of yellow moonlight
to bring you safely home.
May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
may the clarity of light be yours,
may the fluency of the ocean be yours,
may the protection of the ancestors be yours.
And so may a slow
wind work these words
of love around you,
an invisible cloak
to mind your life.

I counted my years
and realized that I have
Less time to live by,
Than I have lived so far.
I feel like a child who won a pack of candies: at first he ate them with pleasure
But when he realized that there was little left, he began to taste them intensely.
I have no time for endless meetings
where the statutes, rules, procedures & internal regulations are discussed,
knowing that nothing will be done.
I no longer have the patience
To stand absurd people who,
despite their chronological age,
have not grown up.
My time is too short:
I want the essence,
my spirit is in a hurry.
I do not have much candy
In the package anymore.
I want to live next to humans,
very realistic people who know
How to laugh at their mistakes,
Who are not inflated by their own triumphs
and who take responsibility for their actions.
In this way, human dignity is defended
and we live in truth and honesty.
It is the essentials that make life useful.
I want to surround myself with people
who know how to touch the hearts of those whom hard strokes of life
have taught to grow with sweet touches of the soul.
Yes, I'm in a hurry.
I'm in a hurry to live with the intensity that only maturity can bring.
I do not intend to waste any of the remaining desserts.
I am sure they will be exquisite,
much more than those eaten so far.
My goal is to reach the end satisfied
and at peace with my loved ones and my conscience.
We have two lives
and the second begins when you realize you only have one.

According to the American psychological association, Resilience is the ability to adapt and bounce back from tragedy, trauma, threats and any significant source of stress.
Resilient people don't dwell on failure but rather acknowledge the situation, learn from their mistakes, and move forward. Resiliency is a skill that can be learned and improved with practice.
To be an influential resilient person, first, you need to adopt these characteristics.
๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐:
Look at every challenge as an opportunity to grow. This positive mindset helps you to cope with situations. When resilient people face adversity, they always ask themselves
What can I learn from this situation? Or what is this situation trying to teach me?
Welcome life's impermanent nature. Accept, let go and surrender.
Ask yourself: How can I align with life's changes?
Do meditate and contemplate. Co-create your life by listening to your inner voice (soul) and working together in perfect harmony.
Don't blame yourself and others. Resilience is knowing you can change the stories you tell yourself.
Practice mindfulness. It fosters a non-reaction, non-judgmental and accepting attitude.
Mindfulness allows individuals to be aware of their thoughts, emotions, and feelings and remain centred in challenging situations.
Cherish yourself. Meet yourself with empathy and compassion.
Resilience means to be vulnerable. Build strong and supportive connections with friends and family, where you can rely on others, and you will get an essential viewpoint when things go wrong.
Resilience is consistency. Be dedicated; even take baby steps to accomplish your goal.
Therefore, resilience is all about being able to thrive from adversity and realise your innate potential.
Resilience is knowing that you are the only one who can pick yourself up from lifeโs setbacks and reshape your reality.

Dare to be Vulnerable โค๏ธ
Vulnerability comes from the Latin word vulnus for Wound. Vulnerability means being open to exposing yourself emotionally. It's the feeling of stepping out of your comfort zone and being ready to take risks and push your limits.
We live in a society that tells us you must be perfect but โbeing vulnerable means facing fear, shame, anxieties, and unpredictability. Vulnerability isn't fragility.
Whatโs Vulnerability
When you put your ideas, videos, pictures and writing on social media and are uncertain about the appreciation, that's vulnerability.
Saying I love you first without knowing the consequence, that's vulnerability
Standing alone on the road and asking for help, that's vulnerability.
Getting fired, waiting for blood test result, asking for forgiveness, that's vulnerability
These are not signs of weaknesses. It needs a huge risk and courage to open up emotionally. The feeling of vulnerability means meeting fear and daring simultaneously. Itโs a journey from terrifying to transformation.
Vulnerability allows people to share their feelings, stories and experience with people with whom you have a good rapport. It's mutual, and it builds connections and trust. Vulnerability works when we unveil the mask and remove the protection mechanism.
Let's make the most authentic connections with each other.
Let's come together and be collectively vulnerable.
Letโs love, support and be compassionate to each other.
As Brenรฉ Brown says, vulnerability is not weakness; it's our greatest measure of courage.

Begin Again. Little moments. Running the water. Tending to the plants. Cutting the fruit. Opening the curtains so that the entire sky can greet you. Itโs never easy but, no matter. Steam from the tea so quiet. An open book, and door, and arms.
You woke up today. You are alive. This is a gift. Even though life may beat you down. Hard. Even though things, situations, and people you love may be taken away from you so that your arms can memorize the grace of letting them go. Even then, especially then, begin again.
Remind yourself that nothing really dies, rather, it transforms. Everything and everyone you have ever loved lives in the mysterious memory of your cells.
Turning. Healing. Renewing itself. Until one day, a photograph of someone very dear, long gone, visits your mind and you bow your head with appreciation.
Meanwhile, take your pain to the sea and your trouble to the mountain. Leave it there and walk home clean. When failure knocks and rattles and quakes, let it. Watch it make a fresh canvas of you. Failure, the great teacher, is kinder if you thank her as you are getting up off the floor. She knows something that you donโt know: she is usually the last face you will see before breaking through. Such a little light in the crack of the door.
But today, if you are wading through the waters of loss or confusion: begin again. Open the avocado. Draw the bath. Gather the books. Play your favorite album. Write. Create art. Open your arms. Move your legs. Lovely, little blessings. Whispering to life that you wonโt give up.

"Awareness
The single and most vital step towards self-transformation." ๐ฆ
What is Awareness?
"Awareness means to Pay Attention to what is going on."
For example: When you drink tea, pay attention that you are drinking tea; that's called awareness of drinking. Same as when you walk, pay attention to the steps you are making; that's called awareness of walking.
Benefits of Awareness
Everyone is capable of being aware. Awareness is an art, but we forget how to use this art in our everyday life. When we practise awareness in our life, layers of unconsciousness slowly dissolve, and we realise our true nature. Awareness brings tremendous benefits to our physical, emotional and mental health.
How to Cultivate Awareness?
Try to be more present in everyday activity is the best way to cultivate awareness. The first step to growing awareness through
1) Body Movement and Sense Perception
To be aware means to be fully present; when you,
Walk, Talk, Listen
Drink, eat
Do Exercise, wash the dishes
drive the car etc.
2) Be Aware of Your Thoughts and Emotions
As Eckhart Tolle says:
โThe Single most important step in your journey toward Enlightenment is to learn to dis-identify from your thinking mind.โ
When awareness grows, you will be surprised that you can easily catch your
Thoughts
Feelings and emotions
Mental chattering
Egoic behaviour and response etc.
Cultivate Awareness requires consistent effort and dedication. Your mind is likely to wander repeatedly, but with practice and patience, you will get better.
Consistently occupying the seat of awareness and watching oneโs egoic self is the real Spiritual Work.We have to practice awareness not just in meditation but in every sphere of life with an open mind and receptive heart.
To be AWARE means
Witness your actions.
Witness your thoughts.
Witness your feelings.
To be fully Present Here and Now.
~Nidhi Sompura โค๏ธ
How brave you are for slowing down. For not finishing that to-do list.
How courageous you are for not crossing that finish line, because your body said โenough.โ
How fearless you are for choosing the quiet of your soul over those voices driving you always towards more.
How bold, how rebellious -
you, out there,
honoring your own natural rhythm,
going against the cultureโs breakneck speed.
We tend to make heroes of those hungry with ambition, relentlessly doing, producing always more.
We applaud those who refuse to stop or rest. Who push themselves so hard in the name of achievement, that they sacrifice their body and soul and heart in the process. We celebrate those who are ill or aging but never show it, never slow down, never reveal a moment of vulnerability.
This drivenness can be heroic, at times. It can be necessary for our survival or the greater good.
But,
I want to make heroes of those who slow down.
I want to make heroes of those who listen to their bodies, who do not strive for more than what the soul truly needs.
I want to make heroes of those who do not force or push, but surrender to each moment as it opens.
I want to applaud those who may not be driven towards success as we know it, but instead are nurturing something deep and subtle and needed.
I want to celebrate those brave enough to cease all doing, even for a second, and sit with the ache in their hearts. A task many find harder than summiting the highest peak.
I want to make heroes of those who honor their limitations. Who are unable to keep up with the busy-ness of our times, yet show up to each profound, necessary moment.
It is truly an act of courage and rebellion to do any such thing, in a world demanding you resist your own self, your own rhythm, your own soul.
And the paradox is, that often when we cease our incessant doing, even for a minute, and listen to that quiet voice within, we discover what it is we absolutely must do, and what instead can fall away.
We finally hear the call towards what serves our soul, and what then will serve the world. Nothing more, nothing less.
A hero is simply someone brave.
So come, be softly brave.
Be a new, quieter kind of hero.
Few may applaud, itโs true, but your soul certainly will.
~ By Leyla Aylin โค๏ธ
โAcknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.
Being rich/wealthy is being in touch with the fullness of life. When you are open to the present moment, what comes in, is a gratitude for "what is". When you are aligned with the present moment, there is a peace that comes, so it is like you are experiencing life for the first time, when you become present. When you are in a state of gratitude for what is ... that is really what being wealthy means!
Gratefulness for what is there is one of the most powerful tools for creating what is not yet there. What does gratefulness mean? It means you appreciate what is. You value, you give attention to, you honor whatever is here at this momentโ.

I want to age like sea glass. Smoothed by tides, not broken. I want the currents of life to toss me around, shake me up and leave me feeling washed clean. I want my hard edges to soften as the years passโmade not weak but supple. I want to ride the waves, go with the flow, feel the impact of the surging tides rolling in and out.
When I am thrown against the shore and caught between the rocks and a hard place, I want to rest there until I can find the strength to do what is next. Not stuckโjust waiting, pondering, feeling what it feels like to pause. And when I am ready, I will catch a wave and let it carry me along to the next place that I am supposed to be.
I want to be picked up on occasion by an unsuspected soul and carried alongโjust for the connection, just for the sake of appreciation and wonder. And with each encounter, new possibilities of collaboration are presented, and new ideas are born.
I want to age like sea glass so that when people see the old woman Iโll become, theyโll embrace all that I am. Theyโll marvel at my exquisite nature, hold me gently in their hands and be awed by my well-earned patina. Neither flashy nor dull, just a perfect luster. And theyโll wonder, if just for a second, what it is exactly I am made of and how I got to this very here and now. And weโll both feel lucky to be in that perfectly right place at that profoundly right time.
I want to age like sea glass. I want to enjoy the journey and let my preciousness be, not in spite of the impacts of life, but because of them.

It is not a secret anymore that spending time in nature is good for you. There are many reasons connecting with nature is good for mind, body and spirit.
When I was a little girl, my dad used to say โSudha, come letโs walk on the grassโ and of course he meant barefoot. This was early hours of the morning before he left for work. Back then I didnโt like it so much. The grass was wet and cold. And yes, if he said so, I followed like a good girl. It was only one morning that I gained courage to ask him the โwhyโ behind walking barefoot. His reply, โits good for you. It connects you with earth and itโs good for your mind and bodyโ. Of course in Fiji, walking barefoot was not so much of a drama as this was part of our growing up but walking early hours on wet grass was kind of what I wouldnโt consider fun as kid.
With time slipping by and going down the memory lane thinking about my dadโs ways of being, my heart fills with gratitude. Back then, I didnโt appreciate much of his teaching being a kid but today his many sharing has become very much part of my journey and I am deeply grateful to him.
I am sure we all have the experience of our walks and speaking from my experience, I love going out for a walk because I simply enjoy being in nature with nature. With every walk, I tend to slow down, observe, connect and absorb all it has to offer. The fresh air that hugs my skin, the deep silence it offers, the beautiful trees, flowers, chirping of the birds, crawling insects, smell of flowers from gardens, smell of mangroves, flow of the river, fishes swimming in the river and of course not forgetting the pets, especially dogs I meet and greet on the way. And of course their lovely owners as well.
With my morning walks, I also incorporate walking barefoot on grass just like during my childhood days. Only this time its not an effort but it feels amazing taking the shoes off and feeling the grass and earth beneath my feet. It gives me great sense of connection, groundedness and stability which remains with me throughout the day. It was about 40 years back when he simply shared few words of benefits of walking barefoot early morning on grass but today research has also shown that walking barefoot and contact with earth can produce nearly instant changes in a variety of physiological measures.
It can make one feel refreshed and more in sync with nature

Of course, our safety comes first and if you do choose to try this out, please do take precautions and make sure the ground is safe (especially in case of diabetes). Remember it is ones personal choice to do so knowing their health and risks so please do consult your doctor if you decide to take the walk barefoot. Most of all, next time when you take any form of walk, stop, connect, breath, relax and enjoy the beauty of everything that nature has to offer โค๐
