Feels like Summer

West Australian author Craig Silvey’s writing is addictive and flawless. This book kept me awake long into the night and haunted me by day. In a flood of new releases at the moment this is the one to keep you afloat.

Feeling inspired after being invited to talk to my daughters class today about all things writing. Amazingly talented kids, we had so much fun writing a short story as a class about poor old ‘Cranky Kate!’ Most importantly We talked about imagination and never giving up on your dreams.

I read this as an e-book and had to buy the hard copy straight away so it could to sit on my bedside table to remind me that strength grows through adversity. What an amazing human - there’s never been a story about positivity needed more than right now

Just finished this for my bookclub. does a terrific job of keeping the reader engaged and nailed the twist. Look forward to reading more of his books...because now more than ever is the time to read!
