Day 2 of the 12 Month photo challenge. This is one of my favourite, photos as it shows the very strong connection that students form, on school camps. This is why school camps are so important, in today's society.

To celebrate, One Youth's 1st Birthday, I will be sharing 12 photos over the next 12 days to represent 12 months of operations, showcasing One Youth and what we do. So let's begin day 1.

It was one year ago today, the crazy One Youth journey began. What started off as a dream, a figure of imagination, quickly turned into a national company with almost 5,000 employees supporting the youth of Australia.

2020 was a difficult year for many including us, but we didn't let that knock us down. We pushed on, adapted and persevered allowing 2020 to be a goal breaking year, defying all expectations.

As 2021 rolled in it was meant to be the year of hope and a return to normal life, but as the clock struck 12:00 we were still in lockdown. Normality seemed so far away, but once again we picked up, persevered and pushed on.

To say I am so incredibly proud of the entire One Youth team is an understatement. The countless hours, late nights, many sacrifices didn't go unnoticed and allowed us to get where we are today. To the One Youth team, today is your day to celebrate and relax. To the friends, family and community who supported us thank you, we couldn't have done it without you.

I look forward to the many great years ahead.
