One of our clients enjoyed staying in the charming self-contained accomodation with picturesque vineyards. They explored the beauty of Mclaren Vale, and filling their tummies with scrumptious meals too.
What a lovely way to take a breather!
Worry can rob us of the peace of the moment. Of course thinking about problems is important, but "thinking" beyond the limit of constructive problem solving is actually worrying - like spinning thought wheels, with no traction on the problem. One strategy to counter worry is to catch yourself worrying, visualise a stop sign 🛑, say "Stop! There I go again", and then go and change states (e.g., have a shower, call a friend, cook a meal) to help stop the worrying.
Putting "eradicate shame" at the top of your To-Do List is one of the most important things you can do in your Life Quest. Here's some handy tips on what that might sound like.
When your painful situations turned into a beautiful story, it only not brings healing to you..it also brings inspiration, drive, hope and also healing to others.

It’s so important to have a period to mourn a part of your childhood, and get angry for the wrongs that were done. But blame needs to be confined to a coping period (which is different for everyone) and not become your default mechanism for managing hurt, and intense emotions.
I truly began to feel healing in my own life when I realized blame had a time and place, but was not conducive to healing. For your healing to really be successful & sustainable you need to accept that some people may not change or admit fault, but that doesn’t mean you can’t heal or move on. It just may take time but it’s possible. Don’t get stuck trying to change people, change yourself and expectations.

When one accepts supports from the community and opens up the possibility of being to able live again....
This picture inspires me more than anything. One of my clients who is suffering from mental illness, was homeless and endured a lot of painful traumas and was isolated for years, took more than ten meetings with me before she finally accepted supports . Then a single post in social media and the community jumped in to help. Her house is now her home with donated sofa to sit comfortably, storage, books and some food hampers and every day support to achieve her goals in life.
