Some of our committee are heading to Fiji and they need your help…

If you have these sitting at home that your child has outgrown please drop them to Cranfield Oval on Sunday morning (7th Jan) or send us a message to arrange a drop off to Shelby. We need these items before the 18th January.

We are after donations for the following items for ages 5-18

Football Boots - nice and clean if possible
Joggers- in good condition
Footy singlets, shirts, shorts - in good condition

We will take these with us and give them to the local Fijian families and they can run around playing footy with the right gear too!

The Raiders are hosting two, female-only, skills clinics here in Young to promote the game and connect with females within the Raiders community.

Session 1 - 3:00pm. This session is strictly for 14-16 year-olds only.

Session 2 - 5:00pm. This session is strictly for 17 year-olds and over only.

Each session will run for approximately 1-1.5 hours and will include skills training lead by the Raiders NRLW Head Coach, Darrin Borthwick.

Raiders women’s regional skills clinics return in 2024 The Canberra Raiders will again run a series of skills clinics in regional New South Wales for junior girls and women’s age groups in January 2024.

Our Junior Pickers were so excited to meet Chloe and Rhiannon from the NRLW Aramex Cronulla Sharks - lots of smiling faces 😀

Canberra Raiders in conjunction with Riverina Bulls offer an opportunity to attend a “Coach the Coaches” session on Saturday at Junee Ex-Services Club commencing at 1:30pm.

This is an opportunity also to attend the Academy Training session and observe close up the skills and drills being undertaken by the area’s top 15 to 17 year olds as a prelude to Q&A afterwards at the club. This session enables you to be on the field observing and listening to all the player’s instructions and may help as you prepare your coaching future in rugby league.

Aramex Riverina are bringing Two Cronulla Sharks NRLW players Chloe Saunders & Rhiannon Byers to Young for The National Cherry Festival Saturday 2nd December 2023. Come along to The Australian Hotel Young 12:00pm to 2:00pm before the parade, Then after the parade 5:00pm to 6:30pm in the Aramex marquee at Anderson Park to meet the players and have your photo taken with them by booth Young. You will also get the opportunity to see the girls in the street parade along with some of our local Young Junior Rugby League players on the back of the Aramex Float. # 9 Rugby League

Canberra Raiders in conjunction with Riverina Bulls offer an opportunity to be selected in the Group 9 Pathways squad which will train Mondays in Wagga and Cootamundra commencing 20th November.
This is an opportunity to be identified and receive cutting edge coaching as you prepare for your future in rugby league.
Trials will be held Tuesday November 14th at 6pm at Laurie Daley Oval, Junee.
