"The Andrew Cadman Group aim to enable memories like this to everyone that visits, passes through, or is already apart of the community.

To have access to all these places is something we all consider important and a privilege, and something we aim to fulfil. We would like to install river paths, bike tracks, walking trails, upgrading parks and other venues, historic and heritage sites, lookouts, public BBQ's and amenities, and other recreational needs, so to create an open, inviting and engaging environment for our community and guests.

We strongly support the local businesses, large and small, and hope to witness them flourish. Therefore we care about promoting cafes, restaurants, retail shops, and all other markets in our community, and work to helping them to benefit the Hawkesbury. We also seek to open up opportunities for business to start and grow, and offer better support to farmers by allowing more access to sell produce in farms. Increasing the traffic flow to apps like Harvest Trails and Markets, bringing people to enjoy what the Hawkesbury has to offer and start to bring greater flourishing to the Hawkesbury."

Why Vote for Us
"We are a group of people that are not part of a political party that is bound by an external set of regulations and rules, we’re also common everyday people of the Hawkesbury. I’m a tradie, we’ve got business owners, mums, dads, RAAF who are really everyday people and not the standard lawyer and accountant who normally run for council and other parts of government. We are everyday people, we care about the Hawkesbury and we want to see it flourish. That’s our soul goal and motive and don’t have external interests in owning large plots of land that we want to get sub-divided."

"RE-BUILDING THE HAWKESBURY.
FOR THE GREATER WHOLE.
Hawkesbury City Council Election: December 4, 2021
When you vote for the Andrew Cadman Group, you’re voting for the whole of us in the Hawkesbury, because we’re locals like you, with an authentic vision to see what we love flourish again. And by being an independent group without party constraints, it also means we have a greater voice to state government, so together, it’s effectively achieved.
We’re committed to it, all for one reason. That as we rebuild the Hawkesbury, we’re restoring a greater quality of life for every single one of us:
Flood Mitigation: Securing a safer future by lobbying state government.
Recreation: Creating river paths, mountain bike tracks, walking trails, opening more farm gates for produce, promoting rural cafes and restaurants.
Restoration: Upgrading what’s central to all of us; Macquarie Park and our historic buildings."

Tourism brings revenue into a community. The old Toll House and Tebbutts Observatory are two beautiful attractions. Ron Rodgers, an award winning photographer and president of the Hawkesbury Camera Club captured this beautiful picture of Tebbutts Observatory. Pictures like this remind us that the Hawkesbury is worth showcasing, rebuilding, and sharing.

Over the last few months of lockdown Windsor has been buzzing with walkers along the river. We’d love to see that great community buzz continue long-term. We can do this by creating more walking paths in the Hawkesbury that connect our major towns.

On 11 November 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after four years of continuous warfare. With their armies retreating and close to collapse, German leaders signed an Armistice, bringing to an end the First World War. From the summer of 1918, the five divisions of the Australian Corps had been at the forefront of the allied advance to victory. Beginning with their stunning success at the battle of Hamel in July, they helped to turn the tide of the war at Amiens in August, followed by the capture of Mont St Quentin and Pèronne, and the breaching of German defences at the Hindenburg Line in September. By early October the exhausted Australians were withdrawn from battle. They had achieved a fighting reputation out of proportion to their numbers, but victory had come at a heavy cost. They suffered almost 48,000 casualties during 1918, including more than 12,000 dead.

In the four years of the war more than 330,000 Australians had served overseas, and more than 60,000 of them had died. The social effects of these losses cast a long shadow over the postwar decades.

Each year on this day Australians observe one minute’s silence at 11am, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts.
