Round Two BCC Results:
Basketball Boys tied with St Joseph’s
Netball Girls beat St Joseph’s by 20 points
AFL Boys lost a nail biter to Newman College by 1 point

Round One BCC Results:
AFL Boys beat St Joseph’s College by 10 goals.
Netball Girls went down to Newman College by 7 goals.
Basketball Boys went down to Newman College by 10 points.

Today our AFL Boys, Basketball Boys and Netball Girls are competing in the Champagnat Cup Carnival against fellow Marist Colleges, St Joseph’s Catholic College Northam and host school Newman Catholic College.
Updates will be posted throughout the day.
Basketball Boys and Netball Girls starting off now with AFL Boys on the field at 11.30am.

Good news on the sporting front for our Country Week teams!
The Champagnat Cup Carnival has been confirmed for Wednesday September 1 and will include our Country Week teams – AFL Boys, Basketball Boys and Netball A.
This event, with Newman Catholic College in Churchlands and St Joseph’s School in Northam, has been rescheduled from Term 2 when it was ruled out by COVID-19 restrictions.
The South West Country Week Carnival, in replacement of Perth Country Week 2021 has been confirmed by School Sport WA for Friday September 3.
This carnival will include our remaining sports – AFL Girls, Dance, Hockey Boys and Girls, Netball C and Soccer Boys.

Our Country Week Teams competed in a team vs team volleyball competition and shared a sausage sizzle lunch together to send off the term.
In the round robin competition all teams competed well with AFL B advancing through to the grand final undefeated. The Hockey/Soccer Boys and the Teachers were tied in second with the teachers nudging ahead by percentage.
AFL Boys took out the competition 25-23 with a late surge from behind.
Big thanks to each and every staff member and player who was apart of our 2021 Country Week preparation.

2021 SSWA Senior High Schools Country Week has officially been cancelled.
Formal communication will be sent via SEQTA from Principal and Deputies regarding school expectations this week.
Perth will be going into Phase 1 COVID Restrictions at 1.00pm today.
Heartbreakingly this means that we will not be traveling to Perth this afternoon.
More info will be released when I have official communication from SSWA.
Well, the time has nearly arrived!
The BCC SAINTS are ready to head up to Perth on Sunday and our Year 7 ACC AFL superstars had some practice singing our song at their carnival on Tuesday! The boys and Mr Dekkers will travel to Perth to compete in the Division 1 ACC AFL Finals.
