Wanna learn an instrument, form a band and write a song in a week?! Come to Rock Camp! 🤩✨

Rock Camp is for young people of marginalised gender identities ages 10-17. This includes girls (trans and cis), trans boys and gender diverse young people. We recognise that gender is self-identified, and that there is a variety of language people may use to best express their experience of gender. No music experience necessary!

When: Monday 26 September - Friday (9am-4pm) with a showcase on Saturday 1 October afternoon (1-3pm)
Where: Ainslie Arts Centre, Braddon

Rock Camp takes place on Ngunnawal country. Girls Rock! We have lesson spots still available on Tuesday's with teacher Lily Morris at 5.30pm and 6pm and teacher Kelly Sturgiss at 5.45pm and 6.15pm. You can learn piano, guitar, band, songwriting, singing, drums, bass and more. Let us know if you are interested. Pay with your unused Creative Kids Vouchers from Service NSW. 🎸

Happening this September school holidays: Monday 20 - Friday 24 September 9am-3pm, with a showcase on the Saturday 25 September, at Ainslie Arts Centre.

Hello young aspiring musicians! Sign up for this free program, Tune Up!

This is free mentorship/advice sessions for young people of marginalized gender identities including women, non-binary folk and trans-men (aged 15-20 years).

The program pairs up young creatives with established musicians to have a one-off one hour Zoom chat to talk about their creative practice and ask questions/get advice about navigating the music industry.
