Part two of our Inverloch series.
It’s a family affair here at Eight Point. This year we have our apprentice Nugget’s younger brother Cooper doing some work experience with us! Learning the trade and hopefully having some fun at the same time 😂
Part one of our series at Inverloch. Smashing out the back deck. Stay tuned for more progress videos as we transform this property, she is going to be a beauty!
What do you think, was it time for an upgrade? We thought so too. We moved the prep area to the opposite wall (see previous post) and put a coffee nook and the fridge space this side.. Nothing feels quite as fresh as a nice white new kitchen does it?
Happy Monday! Let’s kick off this week with a little before and after from our job in Kew. A clean white kitchen is always timeless.
Our calendar for 2022 is pretty much booked up, which is a great problem to have so you won’t hear us complaining! So it’s time to add another chippie to the team. We are looking for young, keen, fully qualified carpenter to join us. We are based out out of the South Eastern Suburbs doing renovations right across Melbourne. So if you are looking to make your next move in the building industry get in touch with us, we would love to hear from you.

Out with the old and in with the new at the Inverloch Beach House! Hello fresh white open kitchen and goodbye to the bright red bench tops 👋
Little concrete pour we did last year..
Nice little entrance deck for the Beach House
It’s out with the old and in with the new at the Beach House.
How it started versus how it finished.
And we are back! We must admit we just got too busy last year to post too much, which is a great problem to have so you won’t hear us complaining! But this year we are looking forward to sharing some great projects with everyone here. We are pretty excited about what’s to come, we have some great content to share, we got the drone out and about again and some great time lapse videos to share as well. So watch this space in 2022, it’s going to be a belter!
Lighting is so important when planning your renovation or build. Downlights are great, but they don't have that wow factor that a beautiful pendant will bring.
You can go with one feature light or like we have done here, grouping a few pendants to really draw the focus to what you want people to see in the room. Whether that be the kitchen bench, the void over a staircase or a nice reading nook, a pendant or a lovely lamp can absolutely make a room pop.
Lighting is our often forgotten friend in a reno or build, but don't under estimate its power to really bring a room together.
The heart of the home.
New kitchen going in at our South Road Bentleigh renovation. A clean white kitchen will never be out of fashion in our humble opinion. Timeless classic 🤍
Cheers to a long weekend fellow Melburnians!
Fresh Floor Friday at our Kew renovation this week, just a bit of an improvement over the ol' lino 😂
Who doesn't love a timber floor 💛
On a rainy day like this is there anything better than sitting in front of a toasty warm fire? Installed this one in the nick of time down at our Inverloch reno, ready to put it through its paces this week 🥶
A look back at our Croydon reno again today, this was the exterior before and after. By rendering and doing some landscaping we really bought the house back to life and into the modern age 💛
Flashback Friday to our Croydon Reno 💛
How much does a new kitchen just liven up a house? It may be cliche, but kitchens really are the heart of the home. It's where we all spent time preparing meals and spending time with family and friends. So why not make them not just a functional area but somewhere to enjoy and relax. An island bench is one of the easiest ways to do that, people will naturally congregate around it, then all you need is a cheese board, some wine and good company. It's what great design is all about.
Dreaming of sunnier days ☀️This was just last week, doing a bit of landscaping for our amazing clients in Kew, building a wonderful space for entertaining, in a Covid safe way of course 😂
It's all happening over at our Kew reno, new tiling in the laundry and bathrooms, clean white is always a classic 🤍
A butler's pantry is becoming an absolute must in most homes these days, and we are here for it! Look at all this space to store all those kitchen appliances that don't necessarily look aesthetically pleasing for having people over but are very much required for a functional kitchen!
Fresh coat of paint going on at our Bentleigh East project with
Always amazing how much just painting can really breathe new life into a home. Doesn't always have to be a full reno with the works to bring it back.
Looking back at our Hampton renovation we completed last year with
Creating a much more open and liveable space for the family to enjoy, love looking back at these ones 💛
