We're gearing up for our final foray for the year, and it all goes down this Saturday Night. As we say goodbye to a huge year for RJT, we'll be supporting Goodbye Spacebear along with Carmody Road for one HECK of a night at the Greaser.

We'll be up at around 8pm, and we'll go ALL OUT, so you won't want to miss it. Oh, and it's free entry...

VICTORY!! In our crusade of battles, we have emerged the conquerors.

After some unfortunate results in the QUT and UQ battles, we managed to turn the tides at the Sailor Jerry x Suzi Wong's battle!

Many thanks are in order, but primarily they go to our fearless and relentless battalion of loyal showgoers, whose passionate dance moves secured our victory. If you attended any of our battles, then this win is yours too 😎

The Greatest Hits of the Rutherford Jazz Trio is a collection of 4 of our favourite songs you would have heard at our gigs that always go off with a bang!

The sound is rich and full, drawing in elements we can't fit onto the stage. It'll welcome you in like a warm auditory hug before violently compelling you into vigorous dance 🕺💃

BE READY! The eve of battle is upon us. Our faithful trio stands to hold back the mighty onslaught of Brisbane's finest musical minds. Will you answer the call to arms and join us in our hour of need?

It all starts tonight, the 29th of September at the QUT BATTLE OF THE BANDS SEMI FINAL, @ Bot Bar, 6pm. Should we progress to the final, we'll let you know when and where.

Then, we'll catch you friday night at in the Valley for yet another skirmish in their BATTLE OF THE BANDS first round. We'll be on at 9.30pm. As with QUT, if we progress, we'll let you know.

Lastly, we'll be crossing party lines to compete at the uq vs qut BATTLE OF THE BANDS at the Bot Bar on September 22nd.

Disaster has struck.
Our band has been stricken by the plague. It is with heavy hearts that we announce we will not being playing anymore at Ric’s on Friday night.
HOWEVER, the good news is we have pushed forward the release of the Fish Hat music video to 8am tomorrow morning!
In order to ward off further infection, we prescribe repeated viewings of the music video until may 12th, when you can come see us at the Battle of the Bands at Brightside. Tickets in bio, see you there!
