ORGANIC PINENUTS
Pinenuts go with everything (and I mean everything) from chocolate, cheese, egg and vegeatables. I burn pinenuts like everytime I cook them, I blame my electric stove top but I also get very distracted pouring wine or bathing kids.

Cordyceps fungi are the most fascinating. Cordyceps will actually infect a bug with spores, the spores will germinate inside the bug and turn into mycelium, the mycelium will then eat the insect from the inside out and then spore (grow). It will then infect another bug and so on and so on. Each species of cordyceps will only ever infect a specific species of bug whether it’s a spider or a moth. Touted for its athletic performance enhancing capabilities, Cordyceps are believed to increase ATP which is essential for driving cellular energy within our muscles. Training for a marathon? We stock half a dozen or so Medicinal Mushroom Powders. Turkey Tail has long been renowned in Chinese medicine for its robust antioxidant and immune-boosting benefits. Modern research is looking into its anti-tumour effects and advantages for gut health. Our turkey tail mushroom are grown in Gippsland by good friends and local mycologists with a clone taken from a native Turkey Tail variety. I personally hide the powders in cooking to get my kids to eat it, it’s a texture thing but you can add 1/2 tsp to your morning coffee or sprinkle on your cereal.
