Koaty Nerno Galloways
Establishing this magnificent, Scottish breed in the Margaret River region of Western Australia. Arguably, Australia's cutest cattle!
Our gorgeous bull calf, Ulysses, living his best life in Manjimup. Matilda thinks she's a cow! Great photobomb Matilda. 😆
The lovely Uzuri today, posing 😍
Misty morning paddock moves, meandering across the paddock and admiring the woolly winter coat of the beautiful Galloways.
The winter sun shining through Trevor's coat - a beautiful sight!
Our youngest little bull calf, Vinnie. 😍
Loving the natural highlights on his beautiful coat!
The hills at our Manjimup farm are looking lovely and green again. Very cooperative cattle moving from A to B - it doesn't always happen this calmly.😆
Moments like these remind me of how special Galloways are. Our little bull calf Ubi has such a gentle nature.
Teddy Bear has his winter coat.
Cattle muesli for a treat!
Front to back: Vinnie, Ruffles, Trevor, Ubi
Hanging out with our Manjimup herd this morning . . . ❤️
The incomparable Teddy Bear! ❤️
It is not lost on us just how fortunate we are to have a property with water! Feeling blessed in Manjimup at the end of this very long, dry summer. Still no rain in the forecast . . .
The beautiful Uzuri will soon be looking for her forever home. Born 31 Oct 2023, her Mother is Scarlette and her father is Teddy Bear. Located in the Margaret River region of WA.
School holidays mean these little ones get lots of special attention! ❤️
There's just something about Trevor that is so endearing . . . 🥰
Busy day on the farm today, re-sorting who's in which paddock as the little bull calves are showing signs that they're becoming a certain age! Genetics are fascinating. Ubi's Mum (Amber) is black, his Dad (Teddy Bear) is white with black points and Ubi is pretty much the spitting image of his Dad. Vinnie, on the other hand, has a Mum (Ruffles) who is white with black points and a Dad (Tex) who is white with red points. It will be interesting to see what shows up in Vinnie's progeny!
Our Manjimup herd is looking good, and these three are prime examples. 😆
A HUGE thank you to Sarah for looking after these three while I was away. My goodness, Ubi has grown!
Apparently, I needed help to fix the sprinklers! 😂
L to R: Trevor, Tom, Tyson, Tizzie and Tula
Can't get enough of these two - they are inseparable! ❤️
Vinnie and Umangi - just adorable!
A few photos of our Manjimup herd. Such a pretty farm!
Halter training Trevor. I'm NOT his favourite person today! 😆
The little ones are doing so well. Vinnie is now 1 week old and Uzuri and Umangi are 3 months old. I have it on good authority that Vinnie has already mastered zoomies! 😆
Thank you to my wonderful guests for the photos.
Amber and Ubi are doing their Koaty Nerno logo impersonation! 😆
Ubi's ears have been "sunkissed" and look brown-ish, but they will return to black - you can tell by his nose.
Getting everything lined up to start the new year right. From the front, Tom, Tizzie, Trevor and Tyson. ❤️
Tizzie is slowly getting more comfortable being around people. It helps when there's a nice quad bike to have a scratch on. 😆
You can tell when it's warming up - Ruffles is wading in to cool down!
Ubi - we adore this little one! His Mum isn't producing enough milk, so we have to supplement his diet which is a great opportunity to sneak in a few cuddles. ❤️
I love this photo of two of our little ones. One is Umangi, the other is Scarlette's calf (still haven't been close enough to see if it's a boy or a girl, so we haven't named it yet).
