PAUL BENNET PUTS AIRSHOW ONLINE | NBN News Aerobatic champion, Paul Bennet and his team took to the skies over the Hunter this weekend for an online airshow. The event served a dual purpose - to get planes back in the air while taking aviation buffs closer to the action than they've been before.
Grounded Ep4 Paul Bennet - 1 May 2020 Episode 4 of 'GROUNDED', 25 mins. Interview with Paul Bennet of Paul Bennet Airshows, discussing the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on General Aviation in Australia. This week, Paul and I talk abou

Why we are Live Streaming an Airshow?
You may be thinking "how & why are you doing this during the COVID-19 Pandemic?" Well, it's sensible questions and here's our answer...
The How:
Great care and planning is going into the filming/streaming of this event. There will be no general public at the recording location, and only an extremely small team of pilots and crew will be present.
All guidlines and rules put forward by local and state government will be adhered to including social distancing and hygiene practices. Our pilots and crews well being along with not contributing to the spread of the virus are our two greatest concerns. Ample facilities and training will be provided to our entire team to ensure we operated in the safest way possible.
The Why:
With a huge number of airshows across the world cancelled, we pondered on how can we keep the spirit of aviation thriving. We also know a lot of people are currently self isolating. Hopefully, we can bring some great family entertainment live to their homes without having to step out the door.
This is also a rare opportunity for you to see an airshow from a different perspective with behinds the scenes footage, including pilot interviews, aircraft tours, and what it takes to put on an aerial extravaganza. Plus we have camera's everwhere on the ground in the planes so that you won't miss a moment of the action.
With all the current uncertainty going around, we are hoping the Paul Bennet Airshows Livestream Experience can offer a brief escape for people around the world.
According to the PAC president Jack Vevers (who possesses no medical qualifications whatsoever), the only known cure for the Corona Virus is a healthy dose of Avgas and Jet fuel at the 2020 airshow!

Took advantage of the great weather today to practice again in the Wolf Pitts Pro. With another massive year of air displays ahead it’s important to stay on top of my game!
The team was excited to hear that the Hindmarsh Shire Council awarded the Nhill Air Show the "Community Event of the Year" award!
Congratulations to Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre and all those that help put this great event on! This is the second event that Paul Bennet Airshows has been involved with that has been recognised with awards!

COMMUNITY EVENT OF THE YEAR – NHILL AVIATION HERITAGE CENTRE NHILL AIRSHOW 2019
“This year’s award goes to the Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre for the Nhill Airshow 2019, which can only be described as a fantastic effort!”
The 100 Years of Aviation – 2019 Nhill Airshow was one of the most anticipated events of 2019 within the shire and surrounding regions. Any event that attracts nearly 3,000 people from across Australia to Nhill for an event of this magnitude can only be considered as an outstanding success.
Of particular relevance was the outstanding way the event was handled as a result of the adverse weather experienced on the day that required the rearrangement of entertainment, food stalls etc. and of course the flying events.
‘On behalf of Council, I congratulate the Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre as a very worthy recipient of the Community Event of the Year’’

Paul Bennet rips up the skies over Tyabb last weekend at the inaugural STOL Championships. Paul's philosophy is Fly Good, Don't Suck and I've yet to see any of his show's 'suck'...Just an incredible display and what really lifts it is white smoke on perfect blue skies. Wow.
