💃🕺2024 Alice Springs Triple Zero Fundraising Ball 💃🕺
was held recently with the event organised by a volunteer committee and hosted at the Alice Springs Convention Centre. A formal, black-tie ball raising over $15,000 on the night, with proceeds going directly towards assisting the families of the fallen Northern Territory Police Officers through Northern Territory Police Legacy.
The volunteer committee and attendees encompassed members from NT Police, Fire and Emergency Services, Alice Springs Hospital, St John Ambulance, Correction Centre, AFP RDFS, as well as other key service providers within the Alice Springs Community.
The organising committee would like to thank the major sponsors of the night, the Alice Springs Police Club Inc, Lasseters Centre of Entertainment, Northern Territory Police Association, Salary Packaging Australia, Brian Blakeman Surveys, and Alice Springs Brewing Co. The event could not have gone ahead without their generous support and donations.
The evening was a roaring success, with attendees reporting a great night socialising, creating professional networks and dancing the night away to the dulcet tones of musical ensemble “Late Scratching”.
📸 Photos will start to be uploaded into the album '2024 000 Fundraising Ball' so keep an eye out and start tagging yourselves!

The 'Wall to Wall - Ride for Remembrance' celebrates and remembers police officers who paid the ultimate price, raises funds for police legacies around Australia and awareness of motorcycle safety. 2024 marks the 15th annual ride.
The Ride for Remembrance commemorative baton was carried from Darwin Police Memorial Wall by Senior Constable Clinton Richardson. Each baton contains the names of every police officer killed in the line of duty in each respective jurisdiction.

We Remember Them
NT Police Legacy Inc is saddened at the death of Queensland Police Officer, Senior Sergeant Brendan Wiblen, of the Queensland Police Service, following an accident during the ‘Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance’, near Glenn Innes, NSW yesterday afternoon.
We express our deepest sympathy to the Wiblen family, work colleagues and all members of the Queensland Police Service at this time.
While the entire Police community is mourning this loss, we know all riders from around Australia will hold him in their thoughts as they ride towards the National Police Memorial this weekend.
