Meet the man behind the cookies…. Me! Clinton D. Hazel Jr. 👨🏿‍🍳

I was inspired from a young age to start cooking. My mother gave me $5 each day to buy food from the bodega. Perhaps fortunately for me now, I quickly realised that if I ate at home, I could spend the money on video games. I made it my mission to learn how to cook. I endured a few horrendous meals and I had to scrub more than a few burnt pots, but I kept my eyes on the prize, a new video games and didn’t give up. Little did I realise; it was the beginning of my love affair with the kitchen.

Kitchen After Dark was born from my love of cooking and my goal is to share that love through each of my cookies.

3 Spice Queen is a flavour close to my heart and was inspired by my three older sisters.

I grew up with three older sisters, Sheri, Dawn and Kizzie. Among other things, they taught me that life is best when it’s a little sweet, a little spicy and a tiny bit unexpected. Inspired by my very own three spice queens, this cookie is all set for world domination.
