I have not made this decision lightly as I have really enjoyed the journey of LimaLimes over the last 3 years. 🥹However, I feel it's now time to pass on the baton so I can spend more time with my kids.

Individual pizza for early dinner. We've all been on and off sick for the past 4 weeks, and I did not have energy to cook dinner. This is literally flat bread, sauce, ham, pineapple and cheese. Kids got to choose what toppings they wanted. Hope you're all keeping warm and well! ❤️

Loving the selection of summer fruits now available in my local fruit n veg. I just made a big batch of fruit salad so the kids can try new fruits. I find we all eat more fruit when they're already cut up to bite size. What's your favourite summer fruit? 🥝🍍🍉🍎🍏🍐🍑

This is what happens when your two kids have different tastes. 😵 For lunch today, we are having laksa with fish balls for my 3yo, and chicken chips with garlic bread for my nearly 6yo. (Don't worry, I don't always cook different food for the kids. And generally they will eat the same.)

When afternoon snacks are so good, they can't wait. 😂 Home made oats cookies, soy snacks, cheese, and apple with peanut butter and sprinkles on top.

I like doing this kind of afternoon snacks for the kids. A little bit from the fridge and from the pantry. I've also been adding peanut butter as a dip now that they're older and not allergic anymore. Hope you're having a fab Sunday! 🥰

Can you believe it's been 9 weeks since we started remote learning? I've been saying homeschooling, but apparently there's a difference (took a while for me to figure out, nearly end of term lol).

Rainy day baking, brown sugar oats choc chip cookies. I didn't have rolled oats, so used quick oats, boy that was a mistake. The texture is just not right 😬. Still ate about half of dozen of them though. 😁

🤤 Chicken wings, sausage roll and corn for dinner tonight. We finally got an air fryer and it's definitely game changing! Do you have an air fryer?

Our house is on a downward slope, so there are stairs everywhere. ↕️ Our kitchen is on the middle level, while the main dining table is on the bottom level. It's tricky but the kids have managed to independently move around with their meals between levels with the use of the bamboo deep plates.

Eggless chocolate banana mini cakes with Nutella and sprinkles. 🍌🍫 When my kids were little, they were allergic to eggs, so I'd gotten used to baking egg free and sometimes dairy free.

I'm trying to bake more regularly now to break the day after work and homeschooling. I just hate the washing up 😭

My kids love these vegetables fritters. 🌽🥕🍄 It's one of the ways I get them to eat veggies.

We had a picnic in our backyard to celebrate the end of another week of homeschooling and lockdown.

🍰🥕 It was really nothing much, just the usual food (we baked cupcakes yesterday), the difference was a picnic mat and being outside. But the kids loved it, they rode their bikes around the mat afterwards.

What 'extra' things are you doing at home with your children?

🍕I swear there's a mini pizza underneath all that melted cheese! 🧀This is what happens when you leave the cheese-loving Miss 3yo in charge of the cheese.
