Hatha Yoga Class (Tuesday 6:00 - 7:00 pm)
Hatha yoga increases flexibility, strengthens and tones muscles, balances hormones, cleanses and flushes all the internal systems of the body. It also calms the mind and reduces stress.
Prices
Adults - $12 per class, $60 for 6 classes
Concession - $10 per class, $50 for 6 classes
Relax & Meditate (7.15pm - 8pm)
Unwind from your day by experiencing the benefits of mantra meditation. Meditation offers you the experience of awareness, restfulness, relaxation and calmness in mind and body. Interwoven with guided breathing and insights from the sacred yoga teachings; you will experience how these ancient practices can help overcome stress and anxieties, relieve tension and calm the mind. Learn easy and practical techniques that you can use in your life to achieve inner peace and balance.
Please note: Chairs are provided. Optional BYO cushion and blanket for your own comfort. Program runs by donation.

To our new online friends, you'll come to know that I absolutely love exploring and creating plant based meals. No longer are vegetarian meals considered boring and bland and this Pumpkin and Mushroom Nugget curry is deliciously flavoursome. It's one that I've just concocted together...most of the time my idea of cooking is just throwing together what I have. So enjoy friends and if you have any questions, feel free to ask :)
PS. I don't measure so this below is just a rough guide. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
β’ 2 garlic cloves, crushed
β’ 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
β’ 2 teaspoon Turmeric Ground
β’ 2 teaspoon ground coriander
β’ 2 teaspoon ground cajun spice
β’ 1 tbsp himalayan pink salt
β’ 1 tbsp almond meal
β’ 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
β’ 1 onion or red onion, finely chopped
β’ 1 cup green peas
β’ 2 teaspoons olive oil
β’ 600g vegetarian mushroom nuggets (Lamyong brand)
β’ 400g can diced tomatoes
β’ 250ml (1 cup) water
β’ 1kg peeled pumpkin, coarsely chopped
β’ 2 x 400g coconut cream
β’ 1 bunch spinach
β’ Fresh coriander sprigs, to serve
β’ steamed rice, to serve
METHOD
Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a large saucepan over high heat and sautee the onion, garlic and ginger til fragrant, then add in the tumeric, coriander and cajun spices. Stir til itβs well mixed.
Add diced tomatoes, salt, shredded coconut and almond meal, mix well, then add pumpkin, mix well and cover with lid. Let it cook on high for a few of minutes, stirring so the sauce doesnβt stick at bottom. Once the pumpkin is almost cooked, add in the vegan mushroom nuggets and mix well. Cover with lid til pumpkins are cooked then add frozen peas, cook for a few minutes then add spinach. Continue to cook for a couple minutes and then turn off heat.
Top with coriander. Serve with rice.

Here's the combo: basmati rice, brown rice, whole green mung beans, mung beans, barley pearls, bulgur, sweet potatoes, carrots, zucchini
Optional toppings: fried shallots, pan fried tofu, fresh mint & coriander, pickled carrots, radish and spanish onion β€

Namaste dear friends. It's been a while and I hope this meets you well. I'm finally back after 8 years on SE Asian soil. While it's been an amazing and humbling yoga journey abroad, it's now time to kickstart my passion back home.
My yoga journey started over 14 years ago, when I was on the verge of breakdown, both mentally and physically. Fortunately for me, I was introduced to yoga/meditation by a friend and the rest is history. The path of yoga has completely changed my life, my consciousness and my overall lifestyle. For me yoga/meditation is not just something I practice once a week but it's a lifestyle. Through the daily practice of yoga/meditation I have found inner peace, inner happiness and living a more purposeful life. I'm looking forward to sharing this gift of yoga with you all. Kirtan meditation, my favourite yoga practice. Asanas are of great benefit for the body however kirtan meditation is food for the soul β€π
