When a local school needed some extra storage six months ago, Oz Shipping Containers answered the call and organized for new 20' General Purpose container to be delivered. This is one of the hardest posts I have ever written, and a post that I hope to never have to consider writing anything similar again. On Friday night Oz Shipping Containers lost who we consider to be one of our family, Daniel Meade. Daniel was one of our contractors who has done plenty of work for us around the Canberra and Southern NSW area. He was an amazing Tilt Tray Driver, a loving father and husband, and a great all-round Aussie larrikin.

Daniel sadly lost his life in a workplace incident working on his truck on Friday evening leaving his wife, children, family and entire community devastated. Dan was not only a contractor, but a good mate to Oz Shipping containers, and was one of those drivers when a customer requested a delivery on a Saturday morning, would take time away from his family to make it happen.

Obviously this was a totally unexpected event, and has left the family not only emotionally damaged, but also financially out of pocket. No words I can write will ever truly show how we feel, however our thoughts and prayers are with the family in these darkest of times.

Friday fun days. Today we have containers being delivered in New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland.
