Over the weekend, Surfing Western Australia hosted one of WA's most anticipated surfing events, the 25th Laval Whalebone Longboard Classic at Cottesloe.

The event has evolved into a beloved fixture on Western Australia's surfing calendar, drawing participants and spectators from near and far.

This month for our laboratory event, we hosted a mental health barbecue to raise funds for Headspace, an organisation that is targeted towards providing solutions for youths. 🤝

Many of our laboratories gathered around to have a feed, and used this time to start conversations about mental health and steps they can take when they aren't feeling their best.
