Let’s Shred!
Long gone are the days when skateboarding was seen as a “risky” activity!
These days, we know just how awesome skateboarding can be for helping kids develop gross motor skills like balance, core stability and transferring weight.

Shredabilities is now opening spaces for Term 4!
Shredabilities is our signature skateboarding program, developed by Allied Health Professionals and taught by instructors who are trained to work with kids with diverse abilities.
Shredabilities participants will learn:
🛹 Gross motor skills like balance, unilateral strength and coordination
🛹 Resilience building - when it comes to skateboarding, patience is key!
🛹 Basic skateboarding skills like starting, balancing and braking
🛹 Advanced skills like axel turns and rolling up/down ramps
Best of all, Shredabilities has a focus on fun and safety in an inclusive environment.

We’re getting closer to the start of Term 3 and we still have a few spots left in both our beginner and intermediate shred programs, kicking off with our Saturday sessions on 30th July! We can’t wait to be back shredding very soon 🤙🛹

Happy end of term! We had our last shred sessions for term 2 on Monday and it was amazing to see how far our intermediate shredders have come this term at Stromlo! We can’t wait to see you all next term 🤙🛹

WOW! What an amazing first term 🎉🎉 We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to each and every family that participated in our first Shredabilites term program! Our instructors were blown away by the progress every child made and we can’t wait to do it all again next term! We hope to see many new and familiar faces for our Beginner and Intermediate Term 2 programs, but until then, Shred on 🤙

WEEK 1 ACTION 🤙 Even though we’re gearing up for our 3rd week of our shred term program we thought why not have a look back at where we started? Bum boarding quickly turned into assisted tango skating and we are so proud of how much our participants have progressed already! See you on Monday 🤙🛹🔥

Week 1 is done! On Monday afternoon we launched our first ever 8 week term program and we were so excited to see so many new faces, alongside lots of shredders from our holiday program back for our intermediate program! We can’t wait to see how much everyone progresses this term 🤙
