Twenty-five years ago Jimmy started as a cleaner here in the Victorian government buildings.

He's spent more time in the place than any Premier or politician – he's outlasted them all.

And he remains one of the hardest-working people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

The hard work that Jimmy does – that every Victorian cleaner does – has never been so important to our state.

And while this photo's from last year, and there won't be any biscuits and cake in the lunchroom anytime soon – we'll be sure to celebrate when things are a bit more normal again.
