Farewell and Thank You.

We wish to advise all our wonderful guests and followers that we have sold our home and the attached villa currently known as “Midnight At Hepburn".

We will no longer be involved with the property after the 14th December 2017.

We wanted to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful people who have stayed with us over the last 5 years and also to those who have followed our story through Facebook and Instagram. We have loved sharing it with you and your support has been greatly appreciated.

So it is with much sadness that we say farewell for now. We will carry fond memories of our time here and we hope you do too.

After a beautiful start to a Spring morning, watching baby joeys enjoying themselves in the forest, we couldn't believe how lucky we were to have mother duck show up with her 7 tiny babies. Talk about cuteness overload! She has been bringing her babies to visit the pond for the last 4 years and we couldn't be happier!

Today has shown us had incredibly beautiful Spring can be.This morning, we were treated to a couple baby joeys testing their legs, jumping madly through the forest, whilst their very patient and tolerant mothers looked on. It was such a delight to watch them racing through the forest, then stopping back at mum's pouch for a quick drink, then play wrestling with each other and with mum.

A beautiful Crimson Rosella helps brighten this winter's day.

Good Morning from the Hepburn Springs golf course, a short stroll from "Midnight At Hepburn".

What a perfect day for a game 😊

Like so many families, my family have been visiting Daylesford/Hepburn Springs for as long as I can remember.

We visited Jubilee Lake regularly to collect mineral water from the spring and paddle around the beautiful lake. (That's me in the picture trying to get out of the boat; I've always been a water lover). Beside me was my beautiful grandad, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday today.

After a paddle around the lake or a swim, one of our favourite things to do was run to the kiosk for an ice-cream, and then, with the change, make a wish in the old wishing well. I'm delighted to say that both the kiosk and the wishing well are still there.

I think this is where my love for the area began, and I feel so lucky to have been able to move here in later years and continue to enjoy all that this very special region has to offer.

We would also love our guests to be able to enjoy the beauty of Jubilee Lake; so for all couples who make a direct booking and mention this post, we will include a complimentary 30 minute canoe or paddle boat hire on Lake Jubilee.

One of our favourite places to visit in the area is Jubilee Lake. Such a picturesque place to visit for a peaceful picnic, BBQ, walk around the lake, fishing, bird and wildlife watching, tasting the mineral water direct from the spring, coffee and snacks from the cafe, canoe and paddle boat hire, a cute historic wishing well and a lake full of beautiful water lilies.

What a wonderful week we have had!
Apart from the weather being just perfect, we have again had such wonderful guest experiences.

Firstly we had fantastic guests return to enjoy their 7th stay in 3 years!

Next we welcomed back a lovely couple for their 3rd stay, who had previously spent their honeymoon at "Midnight At Hepburn".

Then we were so happy to welcome brand new guests for their first stay, who were so lovely to write the attached review on the Stayz website.

We couldn't be happier and wish to express our thanks and gratitude to all the wonderful people who have stayed with us during the past 3 years and also those who have supported us through Facebook and Instagram. We truly do appreciate it so much. Thank you 😊
