Got some extra gear recently. Focusrite Saffire Pro 40's make an awesome add-on to my Apollo Twin. Meaning i've got 18 channels to record with for even better quality. It's old hardware which means I had to get an older Mac to run them. But I was also able to run the software for my Studio Live desk to record a full live set for The Altercations gigs now too

Making the best recording possible is a sure way to getting a pro sounding mix. That means tuning, equipment, room treatment etc. Good small decisions add up to a good result 🤘🤘

Line 6 pod still sounds sick to this day 👌👌

Here's what I ended up with after measuring my room with new ADAM Audio speakers. Good news is that dip in the 80-100hz is easily corrected and I can hear it now. Tried this with the Yamahas and still couldn't hear it properly even with the sub! Downside to having a small room I guess, but the Sonarworks measurement app is amazing for this

New A7V speakers arrived. Looking forward to making some sick metal mixes on these. Quality monitoring is a must if you want to up your mix game!
