Happy Astrological New Year! As we’ve completed another cycle around the Sun we welcome again the dynamic fire sign of Aries ♈️ which symbolises new life and striving for light. The revitalising energy of Aries always heralds in the Equinox, taken from Latin words Aqueus (equal) and Nox (night) a day of the year when daylight and nightlight hours are equal as the centre of the Sun is directly above the Equator. In the southern hemisphere (where I live in Australia) it’s the end of summer and the beginning of Autumn whereas the northern hemisphere they’re celebrating the end of winter and the beginning of Spring. Wherever you are, it is a great time to initiate action and make bold moves to align with your personal dreams, goals and intentions and commit creating the life you want with confidence. Celebrating today, July 22nd The Feast Day of St Mary Magdalene. She is the most enigmatic embodiment of the Divine Feminine energy and a source of endless mystery. Celebrated in Christianity, Anglican, Eastern Orthodox and Lutheran churches as the patron saint of women, converts and penitent sinners. A highly esteemed disciple of Jesus Christ who, the gospels say was at the foot of the cross at his crucification and bore witness to his resurrection. She is also alleged to have established the Essene Order of the Blue Rose in France who were ancient holistic healers. She is the archetype of the female priesthood and also represents the forces of the sentient soul of humanity. Magdalene is also widely seen as a rebel who is unafraid to stand in her truth and in the protection of the most vulnerable. Hail Mary!
