Thrilled to see Fremantle Dockers paving the way in making Perth Arena an accessible venue for all, with more stadiums around the country building quiet or sensory rooms.
How stadiums are making Perth's biggest events more accessible for all Going to sporting events and live concerts are some of lifeโs great pleasures, but for people with sensory or accessibility issues, it can be daunting.

These powerful words adorned the 'Big Bird' painting created by Katie, a valued client of Programmed Care. The pride in her achievement was immeasurable when her artwork sold at a local art show recently for $210.
Our Support Worker, Demi joins Katie every Friday at her regular art class at Arts Project Australia. Every Friday, Demi joined Katie at her regular art class at Arts Project Australia. It was there that Demi saw the magic unfold as Katie poured her heart and soul into her artwork, 'Big Bird.'
But Katie's journey didn't stop there. Her masterpiece found its way to the spotlight, adorning room number 230 on the second level of The Windsor Hotel, as part of the Spring1883 Art Fair. This event, inspired by the Gramercy Park Fair in New York, brings together the best of contemporary art practice from Australia and New Zealand, set in a luxurious backdrop.
The eighth edition of the Spring1883 Art Fair featured 29 leading Australasian contemporary art galleries, all gracing Melbourne's most cherished grand hotel with their remarkable collections.
Katie's story reminds us that determination and talent can take you places you've never dreamed of. It's a testament to the power of support and the incredible potential that lies within every individual.
Let's celebrate Katie's achievement and continue to support and nurture the talents of those we serve. Together, we can empower individuals to say, "I can, and I will."
After the challenges of recent years, it's more important than ever to ask R U OK? You don't have to solve someone's problems, you just have to be there and say "I am here to hear".
Here's to our commitment to making every day special for our amazing clients. At a recent bowling event in WA, everyone united in the spirit of fun and togetherness, proving once again that we're more than just a care provider. We're family! โค๏ธ๐ซ
We couldn't do it without our fantastic team and all of you who support us on this incredible journey. ๐๐
Winifred has been keeping it ๐ฏ for over a century, and this week, she turned 102 years young! ๐๐ต๐ผโจ

Today is Wear It Purple Day, a yearly event that raises awareness for the LGBTIQA+ community. It's a day to celebrate diversity, express support, and promote acceptance.
At Programmed, we couldn't be prouder to celebrate diversity and the amazing people who make up this community. To celebrate, our team wore purple to send a powerful message of inclusivity and acceptance.
We believe that everyone, regardless of age, should feel a deep sense of pride in who they are and their journey. So, let's not just celebrate our differences today but every single day.
Together, we can create a world where everyone feels safe, empowered, and celebrated for being their authentic selves.
Programmed teamed up with the Fremantle Dockers community team for a three-day roadshow in Karratha, working with young females in the area to showcase the career opportunities available in non-traditional fields.

Around one in six Australians live with a disability. Not all disabilities are the same, not all disabilities are visible. This year, as we celebrate International Day of People with Disability, we are encouraged to look beyond. By joining the conversation and listening to the stories and lived experiences of people with disability, we can challenge perceptions about disability and help make positive changes in the community.
Happy 101st Birthday to Winifred, our client from south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Best wishes from all of us at Programmed Care!
Win (as she likes to be called) has a passion for sport and used to play in the National Netball Team. Now her competitive nature is being realized through weekly bingo sessions, which she loves attending to stay connected with her community. Win doesnโt like veggies, enjoys eating sweets, and wonโt say โnoโ to an occasional beer or two. Way to go, Win! ๐ป
