This is one of the less fortunate tooth that I have to remove due to infection.
This tooth had root canal therapy and crowns done many years ago. However, the root split as you can see on the photo created a huge abscess. Surprisingly the client didn't even aware of this tooth had a problem.

After carefuly removed this tooth and curetted out all the infected abscess tissue, meticulously clean the socket and the bony walls to be as clean as possible. A PRF membrane is placed and sutured in placed to help with the healing process.

Finger crossed that the bone will grow back enough for a dental implant in the next few months.

🦷 After 20+ years as a Dentist, I realised practising dentistry is not just about repairing and rebuilding ⚒, it is about changing lives and creating hopes 💥.

🦷 My focus and goal in dentistry is keeping the way of life for my clients until the end. So that when you surpass the age of 💯, you can still be in the company of the love ones 💞 and enjoy life's simplest joy - a plate 🍛 of your favourite food. Everyone deserves that, don't you think?

I am so grateful to see so many people that reacted to my last post about me leaving my beloved dental clinic after 20 years of service. I felt so loved and supported.

I must admit, leaving something that was such a big part of my life for 20 years, hit me hard. Really Really hard. It took me a long while sitting in denial, self doubt, confusion, anger. My own whirlpool of thoughts was overwhelming and all I could do is just simmering in despair. I was lost, unsure if I should continue this journey with dentistry or try another "greener pasture".

My queen, my dearing, my best friend, who knows me better than myself had to use all her abilities and skills to fish me out of the depth of despair and taught me about Faith and Trust.
For the first time I was awaken enough to feel my baby girl's unconditional love to me and to see my boy's resilience and strength to pick himself up. They taught me about hope and about freedom. I must be the luckiest husband / daddy on the planet.
It is time to write a new story. My story! I was chatting to a friend today, and I started my talk about oral health, about healthy teeth, healthy mouth and happy life. Surprisingly, I am still super passionate about dentistry. I can really feel the fire re-ignited within me and I am ready to take charge. Its wonderful feeling alive again!

It is with great sadness I am announcing my early departure from Pascoe Vale Dental Group.

I have served the greater Pascoevale area and lead the team for 20 years, I am grateful for this opportunity and thankful to everyone that crossed path with me.

Many of you have known of my plan to depart as the Parent Company has decided to shift gear with the premises. The future of the premises is not one that align with my belief and values, therefore I wish them all the best.

Due to extreme circumstances and unforeseen difficulties, I have exited Pascoe Vale Dental Group much earlier than planned. I apologise to all my clients for the inconvenience it has caused and hope we can have a smooth transition.
