Something a little different for lunch today.

Ever had that moment when you start cooking dinner and realise you're missing an ingredient?

I started making stir fry tonight and realised I didn't have any marinade. Lucky you can whip up teriyaki marinade in less than 5 minutes using fresh garlic and ginger!!! Smells amazing 🥢👍

How lucky am I to have received a second bowl, blade and lid set for mothers day!!!

Super excited to be even faster and more efficient in the kitchen without having to clean between recipe steps and being able to do dinner in one and dessert in the other!

Unlike Cookidoo that allows for guided cooking, you will have to manually input your time, temp and speed for each step but I promise you it is super easy! 😉

RECONNECTING WITH A PASSION

Hi there, I’m Emma!

3 words that have commonly been used to describe me are busy, mutlitasker and efficient. So you’re probably wondering why i’m telling you this?

Well as we all know 2020 has been full of surprises and up until March when i was made redundant, my life (like many) was about trying to balance a full time professional career, motherhood and generally keeping the wheels spinning. I found myself always racing the clock and looking for the fastest and easiest way to get through the “to-do” list. I’ve always loved making meals for celebrations or events and birthday cakes for my kids but when it came to everyday cooking, I just couldn’t overlook the convenience of pre made, pre cut or packet mixes. However deep down, what i really wanted was to be able to cook from scratch using fresh herbs and ingredients on a regular basis without the need for additional time, preparation and an extra pair of hands.

I experienced my first Thermomix demo back in 2013 as a bleary eyed new mum and whilst i didn’t take it any further at the time, the experience stayed in the back of my mind. As someone who likes to make informed decisions, i admit that i mulled over purchasing for the past year or so but since finally getting a TM6 and being absolutely wowed, i am so excited to be able to share my experience with others and how its reinvigorated my passion for cooking by opening my eyes to a world of recipes that i would have never tried before with no extra time and effort required.
