Over the weekend, I was proud to have represented Rugby League Brisbane as Team Manager at the # # Chair's Challenge at Ipswich. This was my third year in this role, and it was an incredible experience once again.

We kicked off with an arm-wrestling win against Brisbane White, securing a 22-12 victory. Our second game was a low scoring affair that saw us fall short with a 14-10 defeat against a resilient and injury-depleted Gold Coast Vikings.

Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get any action shots of myself or our team, just the team photo where we all squinted into the sun and some dressing room snaps (though I was quite pleased with how well my posters came out).

Looking forward to continuing this journey with the QLD City team in September!

Over the past weekend, I had the privilege of managing the Rugby League Brisbane A Grade Red team in the # # Chairman’s Challenge in Ipswich. Our team won the carnival, defeating Rugby League Ipswich 34-12 and Rugby League Gold Coast 26-20.

Everyone loves a trial game 🏉

Last Friday night, I was in Graveville to watch the Normanby Hounds RLFC 🐕 Women’s team take on the North Lakes Kangaroos 🦘 in their first trial of the season.

It was a good first hitout for the Hounds, who had a few fresh faces joining some club legends 🎀 in what turned into a defensive battle 🛡️.

I used this game to do some last-minute fine tuning of my spreadsheet and report 📝 in preparation for the start of the BRL season on Saturday.
