Oysters is back
Just thought I would take a moment to say thanks to the people who enjoy The Continuing History of FM 104
here on Facebook.
This project started many years ago as a way to keep the spirit of FM 104 alive and the fact so many of us Rock-Jocks who loved being on air and cueing up vinyl albums on the legendary Technics SLK 1200 mK 2 TURNTABLES, so much has happened since I started this page that I now rarely have time to post, rest assured there is much more to come and while the select few who post, it amazes me how there will always be someone out there who has a shoebox full of FM104 memorabilia and is thoughtful enough to share here, still after the FM 104 Coffee Mug if anyone has one send me a message.
Keep on Rockin'
Andrew Oysters

ON THIS DAY IN AUSSIE ROCK...In November 1979 our Prime Minister was Malcolm Fraser. The average weekly wage was $245 and you could buy a brand spanking new Toyota Celica for $7,999 or a superceded Datsun 200B for only $4,999. The Australian Cricket Team was touring India. The first New South Wales Lotto draw took place and 4ZZZ was the place on the Brisbane radio dial for Rock, 4MMM was about to Rock Brisbane with a unique new album music format ( the brainchild of Ted Seymour, first Program Director) August 22nd 1980 at 4pm to be precise, can you name the first song and who the announcer was who played it?
It's a fine line between pleasure and pain, RIP Chrissie, you were the tops
