What fun-filled afternoon four of us had at Laugh, sing, create and play with stories and rhymes at my home in Page yesterday sharing stories and ideas for presenting them to children using music, puppets and felt boards.
All of us are looking forward to next time as our creative minds flowed with new ideas.

As I watched the cockatoos in my garden this morning I felt inspired to write this poem and make this video to add to my page. Hope the moving background of the cockatoos doesn't make you seasick as you watch.
Please share this and my other videos with people you know who work with young children.
I really believe that playful, imaginative language—the language of rhyme and storytelling play an important part of a child’s life from infancy on. With the videos I am hoping to inspire others to try something different when sharing rhymes and stories with children and have their children create their own props to share their stories.
